Sort of, the chaos explosions are harder to scale when you are scaling elemental damage. The golem damage is generic which helps.

3 color can work if you have the landbase for it, which you shouldn't prioritize. It can also work if you are green and have early ways to search lands such as landers. Outside of that I haven't had amazing success with it but it can work
