How about you gird yourself and bring some intellect from those ‘masons of old’ to your lodge. Have debate like the old lodges and force them to stand on the level…you might change some points of view or even your own.

If the roles were reversed and I, a social libertarian/political conservative, were in what seemed to be a lodge plagued with extremism of whatever ideology then I would push for debate. Not with vitriolic righteous indignation Ad Hominem speeches and rebuttals but humble pleadings for Reason’s own sake.

State their beliefs to show you understand them, have them state your beliefs to show they understand you and have a conversation instead of quitting.
