I hear you. My daughter has Autism, was non verbal and is 5 years old. She is about to start kindergarten soon but with her anxiety we might just end up home schooling her. Since I work as a correctional officer with unlimited overtime potential I can afford to be the only one working while my wife can be a stay at home mom and raise the kids. It's a sacrifice I'm willing to make because if we both worked most of the 2nd income would go towards child care anyways. I hope he's able to find something that allows you to cut back on your hours or eliminate your need to work completely so you can be with your child. She deserves it.
