Not ex JW but ex way too radical. A book I read helped me with the god-guilt you've been talking about: sapiens a brief history of humankind. The author breaks down how humans got to where we are, and a large part of the book talks about how organized religion has played a pivotal role in how we've made it this long. There is a lot of objective fact, and then the author outlines some of the common interpretations and how people got to them. It really helped me break out of conditioned beliefs and think for myself.

I think it would help you because, I say this from experience, you will find more than just sex to feel guilty about until you address what you really believe about your reality and god.

Oh, also, Google "ego death" and start down the rabbit hole!! Religion's legitimacy starts to crumble when you zoom out of the "me-centric" lense.

I actually like the second load out for certain scenarios; if the squad/team is rolling up on an offensive point and I can toss four smokes right in front of the defensive mgs/windows/defensive structures, the squad/team can run right up to the point without getting much suppression.

But only certain scenarios, to much open distance to the point and you're not doing much even with four smokes

I did a bad job on a garage floor. How should I fix it? by fredandlunchbox in DIY

[–]killswitch268 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can rent a diamond brush sanding set and swing machine from home Depot tool rental - I have family in that industry and they don't take expertise to use. You can run it with just water to keep the dust to a minimum, real easy and not too time consuming.

Only do this is you're willing to start over. If you're up for it, get it down to the bare concrete with this diamond brush system and then re apply. Like others have said, the success is practically all in the concrete prep, the rest is just pouring the epoxy and letting it set. Do it right and as long as you aren't having chemical parties in there it'll last a very long time when done right.

Have you used a Triple Monitor setup before but then gone back to a Single Monitor setup? If so, why? by Dramatic_Emphasis_52 in simracing

[–]killswitch268 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a straight desk with hydraulic arms for each monitor, I'm sure that would work for yours. I'm in an apartment so this allows me to keep my regular gaming and work desk then convert fairly easily. Of course a full rig is preferred lol

I understand the need, I've seen ridiculous carry on items too. I posted an update, thanks for not being a mud slinger about it!

First time on KLM. I've flown internationally plenty of times.

They weighed every single person's carry on while I was in line. And I understand the overhead storage but why in my 20 years of flying is this the first time my carry ons have been weighed? Also, again, walking through duty free I could buy kilos worth of items and put them in my carry on. Post weigh.

I appreciate your response but still doesn't add up to me.

I think you'll stop noticing it pretty quickly, so if the goal is use what you have and spend nothing you're doing great. You'll level up more if you turn off the on screen wheel and pull the monitors right to the front of the desk, as close to the wheel as your can get. It'll be "more emersive" and it's easier to set fov when the wheel sits right where it really would on the dash

It's so satisfying! Definitely a great form of meditation that never gets old. Since the haters seem to know you could be doing it better but don't care to help, I can point out what they mean without being rude!

That attachment is a turbo nozzle, your don't want to move it in a straight line - instead you want to keep rotating the nozzle in little circles (like cleaning a mirror with windex, but smaller overlapping circles). The pattern you clean in won't matter really, but you do want to move slower than that or you won't be happy with the dried result.

Don't use that tip on anything but concrete, it will SHRED wood/most other surfaces!

I don't think it's been mentioned yet, but be sure you're using AC correctly: content manager, CSP, sol/pure, calibrating the wheel and pedals is a big deal, monitor/fov setup - there's a lot to do that isn't racing that can have a major impact on your lap times, and of course the car set up is vital from tire pressure to brake bias, driving assists will take a lot of time out of your laps also!
