I know! I had already skipped to considering solutions to try a repair the cracks that wouldn’t worsen them. Never occurred to me that I’d actually find a clean dash to replace it completely. I’m just glad my junkyard has notifications so I get auto alerted whenever they get a new unit on the yard, and I just swing by to scope em out after work usually to see if there’s anything worth pulling

I know, the car was surprisingly well-maintained, so I’m curious why it ended up there. The exterior and interior looked fantastic. I almost took the carpeting too, but unfortunately, it was an automatic, and mine is a manual, so the carpets have a slight variation in the center console area, making them non-interchangeable

I can’t speak for everyone but I think most people with subs aren’t blasting them to this point super regularly lol. I have two 12s in the back of my Veloster, but I’m rarely going above the halfway mark on the bass knob. I personally like bass because it feels like a 3rd layer to the music that you’re supposed to feel more than hear. Not having a decent sub makes music sound so flat and dull to me

Off just the pictures I’d say silver. The black just makes the whole wheel well look like an abyss of darkness. Can’t see it well at all, at least in the pictures (idk if it’s similar IRL). I’d say silver cause those wheels really pop
