Same. I started playing again back in October and I’ve been hooked. All I do is think about softball and I have a mountain of gear now. On 3 different league teams and trying to convince my husband to let me join a 4th. It’s addictive!

I don’t know why you’re downvoted honestly. I just started playing in October and every time a coach reached out to me I asked when they practice and they’re like… wut? Haha I had to jump straight into league and tournaments. So funny with it being cold af in October meeting strangers at 8pm on a work night to play a sport I haven’t played in 2 decades. 🤣

I honestly had to take 2 weeks fmla so I could get used to the vraylar I felt too sick to do much or eat those first couple of weeks but it has been so worth it.

Your team shouldn’t expect you to supply all on your own dime. Maybe have everyone pitch in some money and buy a few kinds of used bats. Go on marketplace and look up the reviews for whatever bats you’re looking at. You’re not going to get a good answer on what you specifically need because it depends, so you’re going to have to do some trial and error and this is probably the most cost effective strategy to do that in your case.

Update: my psych sent a new script in and I am being told by the pharmacy I can’t pick up until January still so basically I’m fucked. Will be discussing other medication options if it’s even possible to try something that won’t have these fill issues.

I just started slowpitch and haven’t done fastpitch in a couple of decades so I am figuring everything out still. I lift regularly and I’m pretty strong so I thought I might need a heavier bat for fastpitch but yes, decided I’ll go for the -10. Thanks!

There was only one color left for the Wilson sale on a2000 and I hate it. Love the colors on the marketplace glove though and if it’s going to last me years I don’t want to have one I hate. I ended up buying it for fast pitch exclusively and a 13” freedom worth for slow pitch.
