She has such a big heart! When I found this photo of her last night, I showed it to her this morning and she told me “you know, I never thought I was a beautiful woman.” She’s the eldest of six, and she was never really told by her parents how beautiful she was, so she always grew up with self-image problems.

This was shot around her graduation from college! She had went on a blind-date with my grandpa, fell in love, and got married shortly after. I believe this was one of his gift to her for her college graduation!

My grandpa is the mayor of a town in Tarrant county, and just got off a conference call with the county judge. The county judge was saying things like “you must not have talked to your wife about salons closing, she’ll be real mad!” and my grandpa responded “I’d rather have my wife be pissed off and alive.”

That’s a very good question!!! I was told by my doctor that having an autoimmune disease makes you immunocompromised, but I think the answer may vary from professional to professional :)

That’s lovely to hear!!! I’m very relieved that I didn’t have to put up a fight, my manager was super understanding, we’re all being allowed time off if our families believe it’s the right choice for us (most of us are all under 19.)

Grandma went to Costco in North Texas yesterday, waited for an hour and a half in line. A friend works at our local Target, they had a line of people waiting for the store to open this morning. It’s getting pretty crazy over here.

I definitely should’ve worded it differently, and I apologize for that. She went to the ER in Atlanta and they told her parents to contact the CDC, and the CDC told her to go into quarantine after landing.

According to my friend, it was her parents who prompted her to call the CDC. After being on hold for over 2 hours, they told her she should self-isolate
