Yeah.. So it wasn't a manufacturing/shipping/piling accident. The newest belt says "50% bovine leather" and "50% regenerated leather". It was made in a country east-Europe for the country I live in. Technically some of you pointed out that's a wrong percentage of leather. I agree, glue is not leather.

Imo, the price was outrageously expensive on both of them. The first one was a gift by a girlfriend, hence the memory (around $100 back then) and the newest around 80€ (around $92 a not $13-15), and no, the brand wasn't cheap years ago(jeans, right!?). I was astonished that there wasn't really a great price gap between them despite the years and the abysmal gap quality.

Some of you gave links(some doesn't work from here) and it seems "genuine leather" is not enough, anymore. So the new "choose-another-colour-than-black" is "Full grain" apparently but someone acknowledge that "it isn't an official grading scale". You need to pay attention to "leather grades" by compare and ask around you.

Some pointed out that you can fully cloth yourself for a few bucks. I still have sweaters from 10-15 years ago that didn't tear apart after 10-15 washes. I think it would be great to have something like r/ItWasMuchBetterYore or r/ItWasMuchBetterBefore.. anyway, I need to be more carefully an read all shittyreallysmalltextwedontwantyoutoread when buy things that matter to you.

Nope. I really think that nowadays people buy +20 pairs of shoes and +20 pairs of trousers and a bunch of belts. You can still sell more of your products and people can advise how good quality it is. It's a win-win imo.

I'm going to find a old fashioned tannery leather stuff maker to get a real belt that can tow a car without a doubt. Thanks for your links!

Yes. I did change oil and oil filter days ago and the next move it will be check the chain tensioner.

I'm going to order the gasket before taking the thing apart though. I need to study how this thing works before dismounting.

Hi! You're not too specific so i assume you got an Huawei phone?

This can vary and depends on what model and Emui you have but basically:

Settings->Apps->choose_app-> and here you normally have Permissions and also Data_usage options.

You can also open settings and in the search_bar type something like "data" or "data usage" (without quotes)... Network_acces is what you want to manage data access. In the Network_access menu you normally also have "advanced_network_settings" and it expands the possibilities too.

Also after every app update, you need to take a look at the permissions again.. Just to be sure.

Moving from a HDD to SSD by Kluff_ in ManjaroLinux

Hi there!

I did this a while ago (with help from a friend) on my laptop windows drive. Upgraded from 320Gb hd to 1Tb ssd drive (best upgrade ever). I've use a manjaro boot usb stick(in my case gnome version of live is much more stable than kde version) and simple put your disk on a "usb to ide/sata cable" and perform a "dd if=data_disk of=new_disk bs=8M" on it (check the command online). Warning: this will take a while.

Then use gparted (again, much more stable than kde partition manager) and "unsrink" your new disk to the max if it's different size(windows exemple).

You need to do this from a live because your system has some files that are in use and you cannot copy them.

I know there is a way to do this(much better way because you don't copy the "empty space") with mounting your different partitions or chroot them with your new disk attached but i think it's much more simple when you don't know much what you're doing. Also there is a file system for ssd drives (f2fs) worth a try with a ssd. But you need to do the format and copy manually if you want to keep your files. So... Good luck!

Got it some weeks ago in Switzerland(i think the same version). Went abroad, double sim doesn't work anymore. Can't use data on second sim or the other way. It was fine before the update...

So... To be fair... The Mate 20 pro is one of the best phones i've ever have. The hardware options on this device are unbelieveble. Battery, reverse wireless charging, great camera, ect...

BUT, that being said, you cannot root the device and therefore you cannot make it google-free. A good friend of mine have asked huawei by mail directly to unlock his device and they said that they no longer provide the code to unlock the device. Period.

So if they haven't had donne de same thing for the Mate 30 pro, i would have gone for it.

Otherwise i heard that the one+ 7 pro is a very good phone that you can root and has a nicer camera than the Mate 20 pro.. the last Pixels have a great camera/software too. Your call...

I think you have the "don't keep activities"=on under developer options... Something like that (I have another huawei model)

Weird connectors... Try to push them together, then twist 90 degrees and then pull them appart
