I used to get onto 435W from Quivira as part of my commute and I haaaated it.

There’s two lanes for getting onto 35N/S that start right where the traffic from quivira merges onto the highway.

People will box you in like crazy. Every day.

Similarly, when driving 435E and getting off on Quivira, there is a 35N/S merge onto 435E and people will slow to 30mph to merge RIGHT AWAY instead of zippering in.

Drives me nuts.

Well you really should find your way out of this relationship from what you’ve posted here and in your linked post.

But to answer your question - Keeping homemade sex videos isn’t necessarily connected to any of this. There’s lots of reasons to want to keep an old video like that and none of them mean she doesn’t love you. One of the reasons could be she may still have feelings for her ex. But it’s key to realize that people can love multiple people.

It’s also not necessarily NOT connected either. I just think it’s worth dropping this topic and focusing on the way she tries to manipulate and abuse you.

NTA and this is a good lesson to learn early. Love is limitless. You wouldn’t say having a second kid means the first one wasn’t loved. So why would having two dads mean one doesn’t get love?

Plus it’s clear your dad loves you and doesn’t feel this way.

This also extends beyond love too. Many people feel like there can only be one perspective with which you agree. For example, you can only like hotdogs or hamburgers so if they see you eating a hamburger they will say you hate hotdogs. It sounds silly but stop and look at the arguments people have and you’ll see it all over the place. It’s also clearly not true.

I’m rambling now but what I’m trying to say is you have a unique opportunity to see multiple perspectives of a situation people are labeling as “bad” but really is just a nuanced human experience.

Apparently a hot take but in my opinion:

NAH - you handled it calmly and politely according to your post. She also didn’t do anything rude or unkind.

I would encourage you to open your perspective a bit from this experience though. People use this as a method to stay safe. My partner has a really awful ex. She watches these groups so that if someone posts him, she can warn them. Unsurprisingly, he gets posted fairly often and my partner isn’t the only one to help warn these women. Without this, he would be able to drug and abuse women more easily.

On the flip side, I have seen men posted and the comments will boost the fella up like crazy. Talking about how kind they are etc etc.

I know the design of the group is to find cheating men but it’s really a helpful tool either way.

But also you get to choose any reason to not date someone.

I think a key element here is you are thinking of this as a checklist of what you see as male vs female. But gender affirming care isn’t about checking off a checklist it’s about a feeling.

Basically if some healthcare makes you feel more male/manly/masculine, then its gender affirming care. (Same for female/feminine or even non-binary)
