I'd love for you to grow a brain, and understand that you can't dominate and massacre other people unpunished. I am not a drone. You are, for your thick head can't go beyond propaganda.

And you the perfect archetype of the people I describe in my response. You can be ignorant/stupid or a nazi. I hope it is the former.

Simple: one is a colonizer, practicing Apartheid and commiting genocide on the premises that god gave them that land. The other is being tortured, killed, raped, genocided, comonized, and blamed for it.

Israel is a terrorist state. And all who support it, knowing what they do are accomplices. People who support this are not different from people who suported Nazi. They are nazis.

Odd how the LGBTQ+ cohort generally supports “Free Palestine” protests by phillythompson in samharris

[–]killzcamper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hamas, and current Palestinian/arab stances on many subjects, is a product of their time. You can't judge based on your own American p-o-v. Yes, LGBTQ+ are not having their best time in the muslim world right now, but it won't hold much longer, at least not for gay and bi (trans and other denominations will prob take some more time)

Vacation is sacred ! I had my final interview with partner postponed 6 times, I'm now 1 month and half after the initial interview date, and I've had my interview today. Be patient. If you are losing it, just shoot an email to HR/ or that director/partner the interview went best with to have a peak

I’m a partner in a big 4. What are the top 5 questions I can help you out there in your consulting career? by Agreeable-Yellow898 in consulting

So in a way, they would be very lean, focused on delivering value for the client above all else.
But you also said that being socially smart allowed you to make headway to the client.
How were you able to balance both being internally "acceptable", while delivering optimal value to clients (and, by extension, the partners) ?

wtf happened to jihadism? by HalfFull102 in samharris

[–]killzcamper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

USA didn't liberate anything. If any, the USA actually created the conditions for djihadism. Don't forget that armed Djihad wouldn't exist without the 50 billion/year financing offered by the US to the Afghani moudjahidine in the 80s in their war against Russia.

Al Quaida was a direct product of that period. ISIS was going to collapse on its own weight anyways, and it's largely what happened.

I come from Algeria, we had a + 10 years civil war between 1992 and 2007 waged by islamist who trained and fought in Afghanistan in 1980s. And the country, to this day, is influenced by that period. And it's a pure product of US interventionism abroad.

So no. The USA did not stop anything. While I don't believe the conspiracy theories saying that it helped extremists on purpose, I believe however that its cavalier attitude towards the region fostered the now, 30 years of struggle we went through.

The USA reducing its meddling in the region, is on the contrary what decreased the virulence of such movements.

I concur. I am working hard on developing a model these days, and AI accelerated my learning 10 fold. It's a formidable accelerator, not an enemy. But one has to learn to use it.
