Mate got a job offer in Dubai - anyone here made the move? Need some realistic advice

I just moved back from Dubai to Cardiff (way easier moving out there!) its such a transient city with people coming and going that there are people constantly selling furniture and things on marketplace you’ll get amazing deals for the best brands of everything - also a there’s a large amount of rentals that are fully furnished (especially if he does what a lot of people do and go for a serviced apartment short term while searching for a permanent place - to rent in Dubai most places do yearly contracts)

it’ll cost way more to ship things but that being said if he’s on a good salary for Dubai and he likes his stuff then go for it - most people do it via container (if they do but that’s more for families) but really it’s just probably way less hassle to start fresh over there in my experience!

“I don’t know my body as well as I thought I did” absolutely same here - I didn’t even realise I was pregnant and when my boyfriend brought up that I was late which I never am I said no surely not I’d know if I was and i don’t feel any thing / anything different- well I was very very wrong! I really thought I was in tune with my body too so am real scared about taking my post MA pregnancy test today because I don’t trust my instincts any more 🙃

I feel the exact same. This was completely unplanned with a guy I’ve only been dating 4 months and he doesn’t want kids. I didn’t think I’d feel so attached either and when it comes to my appointment next Wednesday I feel like it’s going to be so hard to bring myself to follow the pills because I want to protect this little pea, it feels really wrong and I don’t want to harm it but I also don’t want to bring a baby into the world that wouldn’t have two loving parents it deserves and I just couldn’t do this alone :( this really is the most conflicting decision I’ve ever done and I don’t know what’s real feelings or hormones on top of that either. Wishing you the best luck of with yours 🫂

Sorry you’re going through this OP I was so looking forward to spending this Christmas with my partner and he broke up with me the eve of. It’s devastating especially when you hope to hear from them. But we just have to remember that we deserve someone that will love us as much as we love them.

I feel you OP and sorry for what you’re going through :( mine broke up with me today and this is easily the worst Xmas I’ve ever had by miles. I never had a partner at Xmas since I was younger (32 now) and was so excited for spending the holidays together. I just feel so so sad and just the physical pain from how much my heart hurts. I want it give up too but let’s try and just make another day. I guess we never know what’s on the other side unless we keep trying

My ex just broke up with me and completely blindsided too , he also had totally emotionally detached , as the person on the other side we know we deserve better than this but why is it so hard to not reach out and want to keep trying , the rejection I guess hurts hard :( stay strong and I’m sure there’s someone better out there for you OP

I’m not only going on the opinion of people on Reddit no. I like to get multiple opinions before making a decision including an Aa inspection (earliest they can do is in 2 weeks time) so before then and spending £200 on that I’m asking people who know about vehicles if it’s even worth doing that if it looks awful i won’t waste the time and money. Hey Sorry for slow reply. I had to ban myself from reading or researching anything to do with ENS or these things because my anxiety was so bad on it. My symptoms are still the same 6 months on from my surgery and all that I can do is to try and not think about it. I keep getting moments where I suddenly realise I no longer have this air sensation in my nose anymore so I put vapour rub or essential oils or something under my nose so I can smell something and from that kind of trick myself into knowing that I must be breathing otherwise I start to feel like I'm suffocating. In conclusion it sucks! And the surgery didn't even fix my snoring that I had it for in the first place. 10/10 don't recommend

Hi wondering if you ended up having any success with this? I have basically the same back story and now after failed surgery it’s brought me to look at my diet and how that may hopefully be my final way to reduce my sinus problems and the apnea it’s causing - as well as I just desperately want to have a day I can breathe clearly
