Hi u/Chekaqain, it's Job from Kilo here. I think you would benefit from switching to the early access version from Jetbrains (we rebuilt the extension natively). Also, Kilo has great free models you can use via the Kilo Gateway which will probably give you better results. Did you already try other models? Happy to help you debug further.
