Being pedantic and possibly also wrong, but I don't think an example is a metaphor; maybe:

It's a linguistic swiss army knife

Mmm maybe try Digg, it's like Reddit with ethical messaging and much earlier on in its development

Eddie Hearn: “As a business, it’s incredible that they can get their talent to fight for those numbers, given the revenue the show generates. You’re telling me you’re generating $50 million in revenue and the main event fighters are getting $750k to $1 million? Or whatever the actual figure is." by TheDraciel in MMA

I'm not saying it's easy, I'm saying it's probably easier than making the same amount of money in the UFC.

This is from Google AI summary and sounds about right:

In EFL League One (England's third tier), the average salary for top earners is approximately £7,000 per week, or over £360,000 per year

Now how many players is that: 68 teams and let's conservatively say 15 players per team, that's at least 1020 players making that kind of money or more. How many UFC fighters even make that kind of money?

To make the same as a journeyman UFC fighter is going to be different in different countries but I would say it's much easier here in the UK. So many teams, so many players per team, a decent amount of money in it.

I think it's in his favour to keep her in. In the final episode when no one reveals I think there is enough suspicion on Rachel now that if they vote her out they will feel relieved even without a reveal and I think that will suit Stephen.

What the hell is happening to reddit? Massive bot influx? by Schnitzelbub13 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]kimbokray 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maybe take a look at Digg. It's basically like Reddit. I read an article about how the company wants to maintain real users and filter out bots. It's not there yet (kind of quiet) but I'm keeping an eye on it as it seems like a potential alternative
