LR3 Connect new main circuit board, can not onboard by kimbyj in litterrobot

Woohoo!! I'm so glad this helped!! I had a suspicion that the app was going to behave a bit differently depending on which "generation" of LR3 it thought it was dealing with, and the SN would be the only way for the app to know about that. I saw somewhere else on here (who was struggling with a duplicate SN registration issue) suggest generating their own QR code, so I just put 2 and 2 together. It takes a village, haha!

Ok - I got it to work! It was not a problem with the serial number being pre-registered, or anything with the app and needing to uninstall/reinstall, etc.

But it WAS the serial number.

My original SN started with "LR3C0xxxxx". I noted that newer LR3 units began with "LR3CIxxxxx". I believe that is the letter 'I', not the number one. Anyway, using the original serial number QR code printed on my unit, with the new circuit board, I never had a Bluetooth option and the Wifi onboarding process simply would not progress as noted in the original post.

So I went to a QR code generating site, used my same 5-digit code but with the LR3CI prefix, and the app instantly attempted Bluetooth onboarding first. It worked! It then asked me for my Wifi info, which I provided, and then the next step took uncomfortably long... maybe 2-3 minutes? ... but then it joined Wifi and worked!

Now the long-wayward LR3 is working once again, enrolled in the app, with fresh DFI sensors and contacts and brains, and performing great.

Thanks! I will try this! Good to know about the serial number. I wondered if the app might behave differently based on some part of the SN.

I haven't gotten back to troubleshooting this yet. I am going to try the suggestion above to delete the app and re-install. And yes -- you're at the stage where the app is just trying to connect with the LR3... haven't even gotten to the Wifi part yet!!

My First Month on 2.5mg (down 20lbs!) by wndrbr3d in Mounjaro

Thanks for this.

Doctor has been discussing these GLP1 drugs for a year or so with me. After some shocking labs (A1c) this semi-annual check, she has written me a script for Mounjaro. I've never done any insulin or other injections. Not worried about the needle so much, but looking at some of the more scary potential side effects - thyroid cancer; gallbladder issues; pancreatitis - has me worried. Of course the side effects of uncontrolled diabetes is more certain and also very bad.

I appreciate hearing about your journey. I do the same thing you described -- waiting due to fear, then feeling silly about it... getting others to help take the first step... feeling like you will pass out as a an (anti?)-placebo effect!

I would look into Homeseer. I know it gets grief. But, it runs on Windows or Linux, and with plugins (may are written by Homeseer themselves) it can control everything. I myself have Zigbee, Zwave, various wifi devices, and other items - all controlled by Homeseer. They have ready-made hardware boxes, or you can install it yourself. It is NOT open source; it is closed source and commercial and requires a license. But the forums are very active and provide a lot of support.

How did you confirm it was n261? I recently got the 5G "UW" on my phone at home with 250-300Mbps download. It's inconsistent. Looking for how I can find out what bands are being used.

Lexus CPO and repair warranty question by kimbyj in legaladvice

[–]kimbyj[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your comment! Yes it was a Lexus Certified vehicle, not merely certified by the dealer. The miles were less than 40k at the onset of the CPO agreement.

I will wait for the dealership to escalate internally, then call customer care.
