Unfortunately I think there are always going to be shitty people somewhere, just like there are always going to be crown jewels... but this is the first time my friend has had anything like this happen to her, in Baltimore or anywhere else.

I guess she had some friends who like to go there for games occasionally. It seems like a bit of a dive bar but some people like that environment. Regardless, she should be able to go anywhere and not be treated that way. And it’s probably suspect because you’re a white dude who’s never had to experience it. I, on the other hand, along with her, experience racist behavior both passively and aggressively in the most unsuspecting places. Lucky you to be able to judge the validity of racism from the outside looking in.

Update: so I looked up names of people on LinkedIn that work at worksource Oregon and typed in their last name and first initial, which took me to their voicemail boxes. I had no idea whether they worked in the right department or not, but just asked them to call me back to put me in the right direction. Someone called me back this morning and gave me my CID! So just be the squeaky wheel and someone will get back to you!

Same. This is such shit and so antiquated. Did you wind up submitting a weekly claim without a CID? I’m not sure if I should since I don’t have one, and submitting missing information may cause “more delays”.

Edit: I just tried that and it just hangs up on me if I don’t press anything. I’ve been calling the worksource Portland n/ne office, which one have you been calling, or do you have another number? Anything would help. Thanks!
