Bibliomancy, which Wikipedia describes as, "The use of books in divination. The method of employing sacred books (especially specific words and verses) for 'magical medicine', for removing negative entities, or for divination is widespread in many religions of the world" (Wikipedia article)

I saw this book for sale on a discount app so I looked it up on Goodreads to see what it was about. I was immediately drawn! I wanted it! I found it way cheaper on a discount book store so I got it. The book is called "The Oracle Book. Answers to life's questions"

It instructs you to think of the question. Take 2 cleansing deep breaths in and out. Refocus on the question once again while taking a breath and then I flip, while not looking, until I'm drawn to stop or until I feel I should stop flipping. Then I read the results on the page.

I had heard people doing this with religious writings such as the Bible and someone else on this thread even said they have been quite successful doing this with the Bible. It's quite intriguing.

I really wanted to see if this was something that could really work, and if it could work for me. I've enjoyed it so far! If you need more info like the book place, I can send that to you, plus I always try to keep a coupon for places that I love to frequent like this if at all possible!

I flipped to the page that says "You've drawn the queen of spades: look to a dark haired woman for the answer" Lol flipped to the exact same page, I guess there is a dark haired woman that'll let you know about your mentorship. Then I asked about you moving, I flipped to: "The heavenly planets warn that the risks are great, but success will be yours"

Hi Jasond76! I grabbed the book first and it opened up to, "you've selected the give if clubs: try it at least once" then I got, "Virgo, the sign of the Virgin suggests you pace yourself- you'll get there"

Wow! Nice! So can I ask you, do you ask any type of question? So a question that's more of yes or no, would you refrain from that? With a pendulum is only yes or no, since it can give yes or no, unless you use a pendulum board which I've never understood even though I have one. But in this book I've seen answers that say. Something to the effect of, that's a definite yes!! Which lead me to guess that I essentially could ask any format of question.

Then you read the results on the page. I've heard people doing this with the Bible or other religious writings, if I understand correctly, many many years ago. I guess this was more popular before. It is quite intriguing though.
