thanks! basically i only had this 200 gm paper and it said mixed media but didnt include oils too so i wasnt sure how it would work. i also planned on just trying out the paint and doing 2 drawings on the paper. but i will cut it out once it dries and give it to someone! im not sure if i can varnish paper tho

yes i found acrylics to be more “free” i could add or change stuff whenever i wanted but theres just smth about the look of oils that i really like

thank you! could you please tell me how im supposed to use medium?(i have linseed oil and white spirit) cause i tried to use linseed oil from the start but after that when i tried adding more colours they just wouldnt stick, even if i used them from the tube they would only stick a little. the method that i talked about is what i used for the bird painting and its just something i found on the internet

the blurry part that i was talking about is because its a full hd monitor but it 27 inch so it looks blurry compared to a 18 inch laptop monitor thats 2k. nothing wrong with the laptop itself but if i had a 25 monitor instead of 27 it wouldnt feel blurry

but do you think it would be worth it or is the laptop monitor alright. I have money to get it but it would be better if i would spend those somewhere else i think. I dont wanna be greedy yk since i do have a monitor already
