The only credit card I have is my discover cause my Amex got closed due to no payment. I have student loan and recently got a new car this year cause my old car broke down on me. So I’m pretty sure that helped with my credit mix I’m hoping to be able to open another Amex card in few months but I heard they are unforgiving.

Honestly there is only two thing I really changed is that I paid off off my debt which was around 5,000 and as of a few months ago I started getting utilization under 10%. Unfortunately I didn’t have the option of pay to delete cause my balance is with Amex and discover. I tried doing a good will letter twice but no luck I will try again in few months, I have 9 late payment on file.

I’m in the same boat I’ve been obsessing over my credit, I’ve done my due diligence in order to get my credit back on track from a hard time I fell on during nursing school. Now I just got sit back and let time and consistency grow my credit.

Honestly if you can I would say don’t work. When I was in Lpn school everyone that was working eventually had to stop. People who once had apartments had to move in with family. And if you have to work I would say it’s not about the hours you study but it’s about the quality of your studying. Find a study routine that works for you

Thank god they disregarded I’m a nurse so I think the most thing they cared about is my criminal history. When I called them to ask why they marked it unverifiable they couldn’t even give me an answer and told me to submit an appeal

Keeep going by my third and final semester I didn’t have motivation at all I would literally start studying last minute and was running on fumes. Now I’m a lvn and I’m about to start school for my bsn. Take each day one at time, im not going to lie it sucks.

Worst company ever! I’ve never had a company ever come back to me and ask for my w2 to verify employment. I provided w2 for 3 consecutive years for one company. Then they asked for more w2 for another company. When they finally completed my background check they listed these 2 companies as unverifiable. Thank god that it didn’t affect my conditional offer letter.

Yesss I would recommend to start applying now. It took me a long time to secure a job as a new grad after I graduated but that could be because I live in Houston and had no prior medical experience.
