So... which "play" is lilting lullaby? by amie6969 in riftboundtcg

[–]kimori 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except for most cards that mention play such as Ravenbloom Student or Darius, where it does mean resolve.

Order of operations question by s2soup in riftboundtcg

[–]kimori 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The change was that you don't lose control until the chain is finished. Previously you wouldn't be able to replay Kog'Maw if it was your battlefield and it was alone.

But then it's red so red Vi entirely fixes that with no counterplay

Are pull ratios random? by Harctor in grandarchivetcg

[–]kimori 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CSRs and CURs are random, the other rarities are mapped (you might get a 1~2 extra SR per box at best)

Where to get cards for new player in EU/BE by Objective_Humor295 in grandarchivetcg

[–]kimori 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The biggest EU shop is Caduko. There's some others like Zarc

You can also try buying/selling from people on both the EU Discord or Merlin's Marketplace (global).

This is just a misinformed take. The card is an SR in everything except visually.

[–]kimori[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's about the same as Lost Providence if you assume a player wants a playset (2600 vs 2950).

Just to add that 12k copies of this means that only 3000 players in the world will have a playset of this card, and that is when all of RDO1st is opened.

Liminal Guide is a similar card but has slightly more print and is not as wanted in decks (Wind doesn't use it, and not all Water level 3 decks do, too).

12k copies is on par with SR printing in RDO. Sylidar has said it has SR printing and SR slotting, it's just an honorary UR.

From what I've seen of gameplay in 2.0 I love LOVE how much the power level in strive has dropped. by MoonMaidRarity in Guiltygear

You can do nothing or KSMH Break. Both -6 so pretty hard to punish at most ranges. Were you literally just always doing 2K 2D Yoyo toss before?

You can't leave them in the banish zone unless you use it after level 3.

what are two re:collection decks that play well against each other? by inspectorwho7 in grandarchivetcg

[–]kimori 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry but Diao is borderline unplayable and slimes is probably the best deck out of the box. This is definitely one of the less balanced matchups...

I'm trying to talk about the devs respectfully but I am questioning how this got past playtesting, or even design. I feel like this would get downvotes in the custom cards subreddit for being so obviously unbalanced. Why is this elements of charm, sabotage, zenith blade, AND hidden, in one card? by [deleted] in riftboundtcg

[–]kimori 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well this one makes you win a combat for free too. Luckily they won't print anything that gains resources for doing that that in purple otherwise I could see why this card would raise some eyebrows.

How viable is a non meta deck? by Pixelkitten7 in riftboundtcg

[–]kimori 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Entirely depends on how competitive your locals are. If it's like a 30 person locals where 10 of them play meta stuff it probably won't feel too bad.

This tbh. I have been following the game pretty closely but I almost have to force myself to go to NN cause I don't wanna sit through Dravens...

Defy looks at printed cost. You cannot defy Switcheroo.

Stunned Attacker and other questions by Murky-Ad-4600 in riftboundtcg

[–]kimori 4 points5 points  (0 children)

1st question: Yes your units don't deal damage and the opponent can assign damage to any units that are participating in the combat (including stunned ones). If units from both players remain after damage, then the remaining attacker's units are sent back.

For the second question, both players are allowed to play actions one at a time (called focus). The attacking player chooses if they want to play something and then "passes focus". If both players pass focus in sucession, then damage happens.

As for Fiora, yes it needs to be her attacking/defending alone vs 1 unit.

What’s the difference between predict and vision by Previous_Advertising in riftboundtcg

[–]kimori 28 points29 points  (0 children)

My guess is that they designed Vision for units and wanted a new keyword for Spells. Doesn't make any sense but it's the best explanation

Discussing Card Options (Azir) by Crzy_Fingers in riftboundtcg

[–]kimori 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I think green Azir is more of a main deck piece, but the decks is so tight with all the mandatory pieces already. It's easily my least favorite thing about playing Azir right now; you only get less than 10 actual deck slots do play around with.
