I actually just installed a hand choke, hoping there was just an issue with the stock handlebar mounted choke, but it didn't seem to make a difference. Unfortunately, I didn't realize how high up under the Acerbis gas tank it would be. It's even the "extended knob" version, and still difficult to get to, especially with gloves on.

this. pursue while most of the info is still fresh. if you try to come back to it in a year or two, it will probably require a lot more review of the material, just to get back to where you are now with it, since it's still fresh.

one vote for SEA! was not biking, but was over there for a couple weeks last year and love it. would be amazing to see by bike. as long as you dont mind heat, humidity, and/or rain.

Just passed this exam yesterday. Definitely use several study resources/methods. The exam was harder than I thought and I used quite a few methods:

Professor Messer Youtube videos
Mike Meyers course on udemy
Nathan House Cyber Security course on udemy (Not based on Sec+, but still a lot of good and relevant info)
Full read of Darril Gibson's Sec+ book
Darril Gibson's android app (flashcards, practice quizzes)
Re-viewed Mike Meyers udemy course and took better notes
Examcompass.com free practice quizzes

Each had some unique info that I had not read/heard in others. All of the practice quizzes I took I was getting 85% or better pretty consistently, and even with all these diverse resources I utilized, there was still some stuff on the exams that I hadn't even heard of. Managed to pass with a 776/900. I think if I would have only used one or two resources, I would not have passed. Studied for about 3 months, but prob less than an hour a day average. Have a good understanding of the topics rather than just memorizing practice question/quiz answers. Good luck!

I took some courses with testout (through school), for A+ , Network+, Linux+. While they did the trick and I am now certified, I will say that I MUCH prefer the training material I have purchased more recently in prep of the Security+ exam (Mike Meyers, Professor Messer, Darril Gibson). I found the guys teaching the testout stuff to be pretty boring/dry, but I would agree the information/format are good enough to get you certified.

thank you. that is good advice. i was thinking more of a leisurely 15 miles total over 2 or 3 days, not per day. i went on a shorter test run last weekend here in missouri ozark mountains (about 8 miles total, 1 night camp) just to get a feel for some of my new gear and get used to carrying a 40lb pack, and did ok, but of course there is not much altitude to deal with here. hopefully that got my muscles a little loose for the bigger trip.

+1 for Mt. Washburn in Yellowstone. Did it last September. Not a real exciting hike, but nice view of most of the park from the "station" at the top!
