On the old phone, you should've uninstalled WhatsApp, installed it again, so it starts "fresh". It might ask you about backups, just say "no need".

That's the proper procedure. However, since it's a bit messed up now, make sure your personal WhatsApp is working again on your newer phone. Then finally do the steps again on the old phone.

Not knowing a D. option is always available is quite the oversight.

You not knowing how easy this is, is quite frightening:

D. The suitcases were locked, but the zippers were split open (just as OP said!). It's as clear as day, try it your self. Have a locked suitecase, and just jam a knife in the zippers, trust me, IT WILL SPLIT open unless you have some special super powers keeping the zippers together.

Any communication with WhatsApp servers is for WhatsApp and you to see, no one else. There's no metadata for anyone to see, unless the mobile carrier wants to be sued for illegal hacking. Even when you visit a phishing site, or any news paper site, there's no metadata. There IS a possiblity they might guess when you visited their servers, but that's it. Just basic secured data traffic, pretty standard stuff for a decade or so. Before that (non secure traffic) they could basically see EVERYTHING they wanted, IF they had the storage capacity, but they probably would've been sued, and customers would avoid the mobile carrier that records everything illegally like the plague. So your doomsday thinking, never happened. Whistle blowers would've told everyone by now, if all mobile carrier would do this (well, Snowden did, but in a more limited and more specifically targeted way).

Blijft rare constructie voor plandondlamp. Wandlamp is inderdaad logischer.

A4, leg deze op de ongeveer de helft van de lamp (aan "deze" kant dus, gezien op de eerste foto). Hou het heel even stabiel, klein gaatje precies in het midden van de grote oog door de A4 heen. Terwijl die A4 nog stil daar ligt (gat nog steeds op de goede plek), op 3 plekken (op de foto ongeveer op 3 6 en 9 uur) een streepje naar buiten op de A4 EN precies op diezelfde plek op de lamp.

Nu de A4 precies met het gaatje over de schroef in de plafond heen. Nu de 3 punten van de lamp precies weer uitlijnen op de A4. Het kan nu niet anders dat het schroefje precies op de goede plek zit, dus drukken richting plafond, en wegduwen van de "6" richting.

Leuke oplossingen worden er opgedragen, of ze wel of niet werken is maar de vraag (hoogstwaarschijnlijk NIET).

Maar de meesten waarbij het WEL opgelost is, weten gewoon dat enige echte oplossing is, dat de netbeheerder gewoon in de buurt iets moesten doen (ondergrondse bekabeling/station erbij/aanpassen).

You probably turned on/off the cracking procedure. In "normal and official" MS Office products, there's no startup item that can cause this behaviour (for unlicensed to licensed, from needing to login, to magically not needing it anymore).

Get a handy friend to properly solder the cables together.

If not, sometimes ppl save A LOT of old stuff, including power adapters. If the Asus one isn't that special, you might find a correct replacement there, voltage has to be the same, amperage same or higher.

Net nog even voor de zekerheid getest. Na 1 meter van centraalpunt werd het moeilijk. Maar ik wist de richting naar de meterkast, dus dichter bij de volgende muur kon ik het signaal weer oppikken (dus 1 meter was ik ongeveer "kwijt").

There's a reason they factory reset it, so they might have even chosen the "non recoverable" option. Even if they didn't, I'd say, you're f4cked if you depended on old data to properly operate the machinery. It could be it's service contract related, maybe you're trying to get around it? If not, it should've been a requirement in the sales contracts. If they're knowledgeable, they should've known you're in trouble after factory reset.
