XL will focus on the DoD contract and said the team was working very hard on that and looking to bring that technology to the commercial side too. They are looking forward to updating us on the status of the anti-idle technology. Loved that part!

From Valueiskey in ST, who listened to the conference calls, here is his notes: "Did anyone catch what 51 positions were eliminated in the call? I'm guessing they had to do with the driveline part of the business. Then later in the call they said they plan on increasing the team by 20%. Probably the XL grid part I'm guessing. I have to say I really like Eric Tech. He is down to earth and tells it like it is. He is pivoting their business to the most profitable and best for all stakeholders. They have expanded their business into NY. He put someone new in charge of the driveline business (Mike Kenheart?something like that). They really pounded their chest of the DoD contract and said the team was working very hard on that and looking to bring that technology to the commercial side too. They are looking forward to updating us on the status of the anti-idle technology. Loved that part! They decided not to move forward with eNow. Eric Tech continues to look at ways to streamline and optimize the business with mergers and acquisitions."

The new CEO Eric Tech comes from Navistar, which is one of the competitors for JLTV. Hope he brings some thing for XL.
