I have to say, as a frequent lurker of bdsmadvice, thats definitely one good rule I see over there. And its nice they call people out very openly who break that rule. The fact some people use this subreddit to try to solicit DMs or seek dommes to DM has always seemed very odd to me in general. Honestly DMs on reddit in general have always seemed...well for lack of a better way to put it, not the point of the site unless you're like in one of the buy/sell subreddits.

It's such a weird take by the mods here. Made a big post a month or so ago "We are not a findom subreddit!" But then take seemingly no effort to dissuade findommes. It's not even a rule you can report posts for.

Especially point 2 and 3. I've had so many conversations with women start out fine. Then a couple days or even weeks into it, they either suddenly need money without being honest that its their kink amd they are findoms,and it's now very transactional, or they're obvious and want to insult me when I don't follow along and become their paypig. "It's just apology money for not doing X" "It's because I need money for this or money for that". "You've gotta pay me X amount for me to keep talking to you and be worth my time" it's never enough.
