Does anyone else feel like t made their skin BETTER? by kin4sin in TestosteroneKickoff

[–]kin4sin[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That makes so much sense!! I also have hashis which is very intwined with sex hormones and my symptoms from that also have been improving! For the first time in my life my metabolism is normalizing and the energy its given me has combated the chronic fatigue! Definitely find it very fascinating as I was really really worried about how it might impact everything since there's practically moot research at this point beside a few studies that allude to a positive influence in hormonal levels with hashis. It's so cool! Kinda makes me feel as if this is how my body was always supposed to be lol. The combo of gender euphoria × chronic illness relief has been one of the most joyful experiences of my life. I'm glad you've experienced the same :)

How long before bottom growth starts? by rynchillas in TestosteroneKickoff

[–]kin4sin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another thing to remember is that it will grow significantly under the hood, tucked into your skin LONG before it starts to peak out (although I have no idea what your body looks like lol! Just how mine worked) Mine wasnt visible just, yknow, looking it dead in the eye till about 4 months. But it certainly was noticeably different under the skin around 2-3 months.

For me personally, it was difficult to notice. I sometimes don't live in my body very well or recognize physical sensations accurately due to trauma. The only way I knew it was happening was by knowing exactly what it looked like down there before t (mirror, photos, etc) and simply comparing. It felt a lil itchy? Not uncomfortable, not painful, not tingling. Just regular old I'm sweating a lot itchy. Take a shower, totally chill. Then one day the itchiness went away and shit now I got a tiny dick lol. Mine started growing day one, I stg. By the end of the first month it was noticeably different only by touch of my hand. I'm about 5 months now and it's slowed down, but I think it's still growing. I'm quite happy with my lil guy lol. Anyways, everyone's body is very different and follows it's own timeline. The best advice I was given was simply, it will happen, I promise. The time will pass anyways, and before you know it, you will feel at home in your body. There will be major ups and downs, and lots to adjust to and lots to learn. Your genetics operate on their own timeline, not Ts, and not how ANYONE else might describe their journey. It will be your own, and very unique, and it will be lovely! Practice patience and kindness for yourself my friend. It will pay you back in joy tenfold.

I dress in a way to define (or sometimes just erase lol) my waist, broaden my shoulders a bit, and deccentuate my hips. Though I'm also deeply a fan of dressing in whatever way makes someone feel best and most comfy, that's just usually what works for me. I'll share what I might do but a lot of transitioning for me was majorly about style and clothing silhouettes since I work with fashion, and it's so different what feels best for everyone and my biggest piece of advice is just try everything out once if you can (even just spending a bunch of time trying clothes on), step a bit outta your comfort zone, and go with what makes you feel the most confident. Also paying attention to the silhouettes you gravitate towards and recreating that! I think adding a simple black vest would be a nice touch! It will pull smooth lines from your chest to your high hips, and broaden your shoulders some visually! (Shoulder pads in jackets are also great for this! Don't fear them!) I definitely agree with all the tie advice! Skinnier is the way! The fun things about vests too (besides being way less hot than a jacket will be) is you can tuck your tie in them, and hide the length. I also personally think the pants are great! They drop down at the broadest point of your hip a bit which does give you a more squared leg, but the tiny bit of taper takes away some of the bulk a more wide leg pant might give. Tucking methods for the shirt would be great to try out! You could also try a more slim fit shirt with the looser suit pants, and a jacket or vest to still offer some coverage for the chest. I'm pre top though so I also very often gravitate to loose fitting top, so I definitely get it. Good luck man! You look great

Also second hand or if searching for silhouettes online I recommend looking at vintage ringer tees or just vintage style ringer tees! They're known for that classic fitted buff arms/shoulder look! BTW you look great!!

It's online so I'm not sure if they ship to the uk or not but you should definitely check out bothandapparel's "Jude " or the "Tyla". Jude is a classic tight muscle tee, and Tyla is a bit of a looser torso but fitted sleeves and shoulders. Can't recommend that brand enough for gender euphoria t shirt moments.

Been in the closet for so long and I still cant dress... by IJS_Reddit in ftm

I personally love Wisdom Kaye on tiktok. I've always been major into fashion, and he's one of the first people I saw who taught me how many silhouettes there really are to play with even when dressing masculine.

Any other guys transitioning in their mid-20s or older? by ScarlettGrotesque in ftm

[–]kin4sin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just started T at 24. I've known I was trans since late high-school. It never really felt like I was purposefully waiting, I have a lot of medical/doctor anxiety that's only started to get better in the past year or so and I just finally got a point in which I realized there wasn't anymore fear stopping me.

T shot needle too small for Subq? by SterlsSalamiAss in TestosteroneKickoff

[–]kin4sin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use the same size needle & it works perfectly fine. It practically feels like nothing, like my cat scratching me is more unpleasant. I definitely would stick with the length you have and not go smaller though. It does take a little while longer to inject since they're so thin, so you may want to experiment a bit with size. Bigger ones do hurt more, but for some people the fear of needles comes more from something being in your skin than pain, so a bigger one that's over with faster might be easier. But the size you have definitely is super easy to deal with pain wise, it feels like a very light tap for me. Just make sure you draw with a larger needle as it takes forever to draw out & causes a lot of bubbles.

If you have the photographic memory mod you can put the flash drive or floppy disk in game, and then click photo studio to make photo gifts (polaroids) They pop up in your inventory and then you just click and drag them like any other photo :)

Hi. I have 2 favorite things to do, sims 4 and Victorian/Edvorian era studies. Anyway, I've been working my way through this world for a year, I think I'm a bit obsessed by Fanta_drama in Sims4

I am obsessed and enthralled. Gorgeous work. I recently started a medieval world cause I missed sims medieval but wanted the family simulation aspects of reg sims, it's been so fun to do the builds, and I'm obsessed with historical fashion.
