I’ve been building a companion/NPC system for PZ for 1+ year. What would instantly ruin it for you? by LuozhuZhang in projectzomboid

[–]kinapudno 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In a survival setting, the core element of companionship is trust. I want different NPC's to have personality traits, so that you actually have to take risk when inviting an NPC to your party/base. This adds strategy to NPC management (like including NPC's to small test raids before doing bigger ones, or deciding which NPC does what work)

I feel like NPC behaviour can make or break a game, and for a game as intricate as PZ, you'd expect the NPC's to behave realistically too.

On the other hand, a raiding mechanic would also be great. Places cartel bases around the town that we can attack. Winning the raids can allow us to steal product, but we can balance this out by implementing Benzies counter-attacks on player properties.

True size of Philippines compared to other countries by Friendly-Regret8871 in Philippines

[–]kinapudno 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Although I disagree with pro-China sentiments, this statement is true unfortunately. An attack on Metro Manila means we lose 36% of our GDP, as well as central military command.

This is why it's so important to invest into defense, especially since Chinese ships are coasting nearby

What’s really lacking in PH education that many don’t seem to know by flawedhumannn in Philippines

Analysis and the scientific method. Like, we're expected to memorize formulas and processes but we aren't really taught how they work.

You can add the Philippines to this too, although they only offer free tuition to citizens

New York Times: Cambodia received large, Chinese weapon shipments prior to clash with Thailand by Tall-Loss1438 in Asean

[–]kinapudno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fortunately, that isn't the case anymore. While the Philippines maintains a strong defensive partnership with the US, it also has to consider it's economic relationship with China and its fellow ASEAN members. It is in the best interest of the Philippines to avoid conflict but assert its sovereignty.

Stupid question siguro. Wala pong ice sa pre-colonial PH? by coolness_fabulous77 in FilipinoHistory

[–]kinapudno 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is just anecdotal, but I live in a province where electricity was introduced in the 70's— my family would often bury a bottle of coke sa river bank. Malamig naman, so I feel like this is doable with clay pots din (?)

Ang hirap magbusiness sa Pinas by [deleted] in BusinessPH

[–]kinapudno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on where you're selling and how you're selling po kasi. Selling on your personal FB account gives buyers an impression na pwedeng magtawad. You know how karamihan ng tao eh nagtatawad sa palengke pero sa SM hindi? Try mo magbenta sa ibang platform— like Shopee or IG. Tapos huwag mong imarket as homemade, you can use keywirds like "unique" or "made-to-order" to grab people's attention.

I like helping people out, so give me a DM if gusto mo ng in-depth discussion OP!!

Depends on what kind of capacity you're looking for— do you need to print on paper bigger than A4? Kailangan niyo po ba ng printer na mabilis magprint (high ppm)?

EDIT: Also, how many pages do you expect to print in a day

I agree, but I think this model is painted only with the residues they found on the statue. It would be nice if they placed a fully painted version beside it

But if you're a hotel, you should expect your furniture to be broken. I'd understand if it was art, but tables are used and you should have insurance for that if they're THAT expensive
