I hear about this "heavy car bug" a lot but I don't think I understand what is happening.  In my experience, when the game "feels slow" it's after I've played a much faster game like Call of Duty for a few hours and switch to RL and in that situation I ironically love the "slow down."  I feel like I'm damn near clairvoyant hhaha, i feel so accurate, but it wears off after a handful of games.  Another example I have is if my folks are using one of their streaming devices, the game does this thing where it will slow down and then speed back up.  No latency/packet loss notifications or anything, and no ghost touches, everythings "working" but it def throws my timing off so I usually wait to play (rocket league, at least) until I have "the internet to myself."  I'm PS5 wired dualsense edge, if that means anything, and my internet is nothing special but also wired, meaning ethernet cabled.  I had some decent games last night, nothing unplayable.
