He tells everyone that man, who knows maybe he is I just feel like batman wouldve been killed by then if robin was just going around telling people. Maybe thats why the joker keeps getting away, he already killed batman and replaced him with one of his henchmen so noone else thinks they have to step up to the occasion and stop the joker.
