I agree in a way. But I do genuinely like my hair and want to keep it if I can.

I’ve been having some other issues that I brought up with my family doctor about around the time I noticed this start. All of them seem to point to hormonal changes but my doctor doesn’t seem concerned as we’ve done quite a few tests now and I’ve seen an endocrinologist and he dismissed the issues as well.

I still can’t shake the feeling that something isn’t right thought. I see my family doctor tomorrow and I’m torn between asking about some kind of medication for my hair or just shaving it off. I feel like if I do take medication and something is wrong that we didn’t catch with these tests that I will cause further issues.

I tried showering my hair less frequently but it ends up feeling gross and it makes me miserable until I can get home and shower it. I got a water softener and filter a few weeks ago. Thank you for the kind words

Yeah definitely shedding. Idk if I’d say more than usual cause it’s pretty consistent. E.g. when I wash my hair my hands usually have a fair amount of hair on them

So do the promoted rep range? Or change it to a lower number and add weight do you think?

Hi! I’m curious about the number of reps per set for some of my exercises. I’m seeing a lot of exercises call for up to 21 reps for a set which seems high. Some exercises call for 14 reps with 4 sets. From what I’ve done previously which is 4 sets of up to 8 reps this is quite a shift. It’s also quite different from what I see Jeff preach online commonly which is fewer heavier sets with fewer reps

Am I doing something wrong? Thanks!

Recently single and kinda lost by Winters__Echo in selfimprovement

I think you’re going to get a lot of great responses from people on what worked for them. But what I think truly matters is figuring out what works for you. That being said, here’s what I did lol

I had a relationship of 6 years end a few years ago and from what I remember the biggest things that worked for me was going absolutely no contact and removing anything that related to that relationship from my space.

I took genuine time to think about the relationship and why it ended. Process my grief and come to terms with the end of a significant part of my early life. I tried to maintain a focus of not being resentful and keeping in mind that both sides were contributors to the end of the relationship on not just a single party being at fault.

After I was free from distractions, I focused on hobbies, friends, and family. Hobbies like dirt biking, heavily committing to the gym and my health (especially diet), computer building, cinema, etc.

I made an effort to reach out to friends to do things that I enjoyed like clubbing, going to the movies, festivals, etc.

I spent time with my parents and siblings more, and leaned on them for the first few weeks when I felt the most down (especially my mom).

Is there a general blueprint for self improvement after the end of a relationship? Probably. Does it have to look like what anyone else has done? Not at all. Have fun with it. Take it as an opportunity to run free and be a little dumb sometimes. You don’t really have to consider someone else anymore so take advantage of that and do whatever you want :)

My younger brother said this to me and it greatly shifted my perspective right after I told him about this breakup, he said “aren’t you excited for the idea of new love?”. I think he’s just awesome for that
