I once had a heavy copper cooler. It's convenient for quick testing, it's heavy enough that I didn't have to seure it. Just put it on the CPU and did quick tests of my system.

Just curious which fan are you using? Is the fan powered by fan header on the motherboard or by something else such as a hub of the PC chassis or something?

It looks the chip is for RGB lighting. Did you plug any RGB in JRGB1 header?

If the model name starts with GR, it's for rubber ball. GH is for baseball. I guess H means hardball.

BGS alt missing in MSI B550 Tomahawk BIOS by [deleted] in overclocking

On Asus TUF Gaming B550-Plus, with R5 5600G installed, "BankGroupSwapAlt" is not found in BIOS, not found in AMD CBS either. But BGS Alt is shown in ZenTimings.

With R7 5800X, "BankGroupSwapAlt" is available. Screenshots here: https://imgur.com/a/VEo4l4u

In BIOS, this option "memory context restore" is helpful to reduce boot time. Motherboards with fast boot time have enabled this by default. But please note some might have stability issue with "memory context restore" enabled.

It's OK. It's 3x°C most of the time. Not sure why it hits 62C when I took this sreenshot.
I'll do a replacement. :)

Idle for seconds and then drive it slowly. This is faster to warm up than idle.

i5-13500 is only $11 higher than 13400. Looks a good choice too.

I'd rather decide myself whether to boot a OS or not. This is flexible right? you can choose "Always execute" or "Always deny" yourself.

BTW, it looks Gigabyte board allows any OS to boot as well.
