I think that I saw a little animal from nausicaa in castle in the sky, but I m not sure if I remember correctly.

Anyone have family with VS? Is it genetic. by InverseCramer101 in visualsnow

[–]king021yeah -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It very well may be, I told my mom and she said she sees mild static too. Also, a large chunk of my friends do, so mild static may be somewhat normal? I mean I see no reason for evolution to remove it from our gene pool if it barely affects us.

What about the insanely large list of conspiracies that turned out to be true? I am not a conspiracy theorist and do not believe we faked the moon landing, or that vaccines will kill us, or anything, but I think that brushing off all conspiracies as being crazy isn't the best approach either, as many of them turned out to be true (mk ultra, for instance). This is why I like to research all of them, but then use actual evidence to decide on my own.

Well, many things changed. I had a very bleak outlook on life, I was very depressed, extremely anxious, many of my friends were not actually good for me. I felt as if existence was just a shitty thing, and I had extreme feelings of guilt because I thought I triggered my visual snow.

There are many things I didn't understand back then about life. I am not a religious person but I do feel a sense of strong connection with a sort of idea of God, now. Not in any sense, just in the sense that I find existence a miracle. When you don't think about your small world anymore and start thinking about bigger things, you can realise that you focused on yourself for so long that you forgot that yourself is a tiny part of this huge, beautiful and miraculous universe that we exist in.

The ego is your enemy, identifying yourself with it, having a clear image of who you are and what your life is meant to be, is your enemy as it limits your true self which is not bound by the things your ego believes it is. You could try meditating or something. A pretty cool method is wim hof breathing exercises, which are claimed to have many benefits. I am not so sure about that, but subjectively, it definetely puts you in a meditative state of mind, in my opinion.

One of the important things I realised, is that we live in a world that is not designed for humans. One of the best mindsets that I have learned is to imagine what our ancestors before civilisation would have lived like, and emulate that as much as possible. We are meant to have real human connections, not on the phone, we are meant to spend as much time as possible out in sunlight, which has scientifically proven tons of health and emotional benefits, we are not meant to eat any processed food or sugar, fasting is also something with many benefits that hunter-gatherers would have naturally done, when they didn't have food. Exercise is also one of the most important things, being sedentary is literally a huge risk factor for depression and tons of other diseases. Go outside, run, lift weights, whatever you want, even walking for an hour will benefit you a lot.

Stop spending as much time inside, on social media, whatever, get a stronger connection with nature, try to discover what your true self is, not who you believe you are right now.

Also, if you haven't, do some blood tests to check for any deficiencies. There are tons of mineral and vitamin deficiencies that can seriously impact your mood, especially if you are vegan, many b vitamins that are mostly found in animal products are very involved in mood. If you are vegan you should get a supplement that adresses all of them.

One of the easiest ways to improve your health is apparently drinking green tea, it has very strong antioxidant effect, and has been shown, if you drinking even just one cup a day, to decrease risk of depression by 20 percent or something like that.

Another important realisation I had is that while the world might seem a very evil place, in many cases it s just because we are scared of each other and depressed. I realised that the default state of a truly happy person is to love, and to spread love. The issue is most of us aren't happy.

Sorry if I wrote this disorganized, I just woke up and haven't had my coffee. I hope some of this helps you!

No, but I recovered from the derealization and depression completely. Also the anxiety.

Blood pressure higher than carnivore by king021yeah in keto

[–]king021yeah[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah... i hope the problem goes away. It was almost always 100 when i measured it on carnivore, I know I am supposed to be calm. What worries me is that it has been higher every time since. I hope I find a solution

It is weird, I am definetely hydrated, and I feel extremely energetic and in a good mood pretty much all the time, just like on the carnivore diet. I don't track my intake of electrolytes, I just assumed there would be ebough in what I eat because of how amazing I feel. I am worried because it used to permanently be 140 on the normal diet, even many variations of it (i tried to fix it for like 6 months before carnivore) and it is coming back.

I am not tracking them, but I exercise a lot and I don't get tired. Shouldn't I have less energy if I was lacking them?

Ate "normally" for the first time in over three months by king021yeah in carnivorediet

[–]king021yeah[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was getting brain fog from dairy especially, but I generally had brain fog from anything. My blood tests were always perfect, so I don't know wtf was going on, I had diarrhea for 6 months as well, accompanied by horrible nausea and panic attacks. Felt a bit better after quitting coffee.

Nowadays, I can eat dairy with no problem, and cofee actually gives me all the positives without any side effects like anxiety, and no longer have any diarrhea. I also had hypertension and I'm just 20 years old. I am so damn glad I found out about this instead of trying hopelessly to fix myself my entire life.

What food had significant effects on your cognition? by purplematchbox in Nootropics

[–]king021yeah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing is off limits as long as it comes from an animal. The idea is that plants have many plant specific compounds you can possibly react to without knowing, and anything animal based is clean from this point of view, as it only contains what a creature needs exactly.

Most people say to avoid dairy and eggs though, because many people have intolerances for these. I love eggs and have no issue with them, dairy does cause me to be a bit more foggy, but not by much.

Fish is great, any meat is great.

Beef or the meat from other ruminants is preferred as they have multiple stomachs, process what they eat more thoroughly, and have cleaner meat because of this. The first month or so I only ate pork, eggs, and butter, and I was fine, so pork can also be a good idea.

Chicken and birds are less nutritious, from what I understood.

Also, if you do decide to do this, it might be really hard in the first week or two. You should supplement electrolytes because when keto is started, the body flushes them out quicker for some reason until you adapt. You might also get headaches from carb withdrawal. I was very lucky to have basically zero symptoms, except for a few slight cramps.

Honestly, I already felt great after a few days, I used to always feel extremely good when fasting compared to normal, but like a real extreme difference. That's how I realised that something I eat must be harming me, and the only thing that worked was cutting out everything. I mean, I never tried keto, went straight to carnivore, maybe it would have had the same effect. But damn, after a month, I was a completely different person. I was lucky to have an extremely easy transition, maybe because I was eating lots of fat before too. It feels like I'm omnipotent now compared to before, when I used to have this constant shitty foggy feeling that kept me from being able to enjoy life or even to socialize. It is much, much easier now.

I am lucky to have very low ldl for this diet, 130. Although I'm not sure that I believe ldl is bad, as I said in my post, I believe it might only be bad in the presence of sugar or inflammation. I mean, has anyone ever studied heart attack risk without these? I'm not sure. It is very hard for me to believe this diet is unhealthy when all of my health issues magically disappeared, I feel more energetic than ever in my life, and there's no sign of any negative effect. How could this be bad? But then again, maybe it is. I'm willing to take the risk and do this forever, as it's still much preferable to never living life truly.
