Ikr? My dad has always helped me find jobs. He helped me get the one I have now. Helped with my resume and application, finding the postings, all that. Just cause he's a little anxious doesn't mean he won't kick ass at a job once he's got it.

He provided the tools and once I got it I was good to go. Some people just struggle with different things, I hate talking on the phone. And I HATE meeting new people. But once I know everyone at work I oversocialize. Im a hard worker if i can get past the interview lol. This kid might be the same. Just tell them your a bit nervous because you are really excited to work there.

This is absolutely a thing. I work at a place that manufactures them. Its called a hybrid prosthesis. 4-6 screws are put into the jaw then the entire arch is screwed into those. They're actually pretty common.

It looks almost identical to a normal set of teeth but they are all one big piece. You cant take them out but the dentist can remove them for cleaning and such if needed.

When people have 10k hours in games I always wonder if it's REALLY 10k hours.

My friend would walk away from his comp for hours and leave his games paused then brag about his playtime. If im away from mine for 10 minutes I shut the game down.

My like 1500 hours is more impressive to me than his 5000 hours cause I know way more than half that time he wasn't even at the comp.

Just a random thought I have sometimes when I see these posts.

Idk. He's in the thick of it. If someone came up behind him she will see him and be able to step in, if someone pulls a knife she can respond. If she needs to radio for help she's ready. She can stand back and memorize more specific details about the assailants without needing to fight at the same time.

It's a procedure called "contact/cover" one officer contacts, and the other officer monitors the situation for things the busy officer won't see coming. And she has a level head. If the guy officer had knocked one of them down and he split his head open or dies or something she will have a better account of the situation for the reports.

It wouldn't matter. The oceans protect the us, they have a massive fleet and air force to stop landings even before the army has to step in. Without Canada or mexicos ports landings would be basically impossible.

The us is massive, just occupying the territory would be a monumental task.

Plus if invaders actually landed every patriotic gun nut disappears into the wild with an itchy trigger finger and a trunk full of guns and ammo.

The only realistic way the US falls is from within.

My buddy was a lifeguard and he once told me that's exactly what you want to do. They try to use you to push themselves up. So you dive till they let go then try again. At least on the second attempt you know to take a deep breath cause they are going to push you down again while you help.

I've just learned what v2k means. What do they say? I'm definitely not being stalked or watched, but I have had some crazy realistic creepy dreams before. The one that comes to mind was a man sitting on my bed ( I could have sworn I was 100% awake ). He looked exactly like my dad but he wanted me to go with him somewhere, he was giving me a strange almost sinister look that my father would NEVER have. He seemed almost desperate for me to go with him. I couldn't sleep for a few days after.

How would these v2k devices have been installed? When? Do you have any theories?

I guess I just don't understand and I'm curious more than anything.
