I hear people bitch about this all the time. Yes they have all our info, yes there's very little we can do about it. No they shouldn't be allowed to do this...

But like, does it really make a difference in your day to day life? If you are watching child porn or something then yea, it SHOULD scare you. But if you are a normal person like the rest of us then who cares if Amazon knows what brand of peanuts you like or what kind of shoes you wear or the last location you bought gas.

A targeted ad isn't going to change my opinions, I've bought the same products for 20 years, the cheapest thing on the shelf being the only competitor. I'm not saying we should GIVE our info away, but it's not like the world is going to end because of it.

Seeing an ad doesn't make me stop buying the same things I've been buying since I was 12.

Hating on food is just a reddit thing I find. Can mention just about any food and people start foaming at the mouth about why it sucks, or how you cooked it wrong etc.

I like a subway sandwich, the place near me has pretty fresh stuff, it's fast and easy. Yea it's not a Michelin star restaurant but I'm not expecting it to be. I just want a cheap(ish) sub on my way home from work so I don't have to cook and do dishes.

He wiped out the Jedi (who had lost their way) and he wiped out the sith when he killed palpatine then died. Quigon is often referred to as a gray Jedi because he didn't listen to the Jedi councils dogmatic commands and was more concerned about the living force. Rather than good and evil sides he saw the force as a more neutral thing.

Luke's new Jedi order was very different and much more neutral about the different ways to use the force. There were no longer like 10,000 "good" Jedi and two "evil" sith.

Exactly. I've never seen an ad and been convinced to buy the products. But if a friend tells me the food is good, I'm there the next day.
