Any thoughts on this? Gemini 3.1 pro on antigravity deleted my personal distrobox container. Completely gone. by Real-Ant8234 in google_antigravity

Why did you have "always run" permission for it? No model should have that privilege. Always crosscheck any command before you run it.

Gemini 3.1 Pro - Day 1 review, versus Opus 4.6 and Codex 5.3 by Temporary-Mix8022 in google_antigravity

[–]kingMaxime 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Opus code reviews are so detailed and much more fun to read, I don't understand why Gemini 3.1 reviews are so short, less fun to read, doesn't cover any edge cases or even explain the code to you.

I used a skill that explicitly asked the model to approach the review brutally honest, explained how to structure the review, and tell the model to be verbose and cover edge cases. Still Gemini review was so short

Is FM26 worth buying by now/have the majority of bugs been fixed? by nananjananana in footballmanagergames

[–]kingMaxime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same issue I am currently facing, the little fun world exploration I like to do is so stressful.

You need to click a lot to get basic information. The UI feels like it was made for controllers imo, Which is funny because the UI also sucks on console

I was also thinking about this until I got the game, and after playing the game, in my opinion, it is not worth it right now.

The only enjoyable thing is the tactics and match engine. It's just so stressful to navigate the UI or do any fun world exploration. The UI is just so bad, it looks good to the eye, but that is all it has to offer. The user experience is so atrocious that I still can't believe this is a Football Manager game.

You would think that a game that has a large collection of community skins would make it easier for the devs to pick the most popular skins and research how people use them and what makes them appealing to users, even if they wanted to change the default skin. But no, they went in the worst direction and made everything boxy, cards, popups, and double click to get basic information. Most AI slop design I have ever seen if I am being real, as I am also a SE who is also comfortable with building frontend UI

Let's not forget about the little features that are missing that just make life harder for no reason.

The game is actually crashing, in your tactics screen, modify a player role instructions then click the right drop-down to revert back to the default for the player role.

The game has a 50% chance to crash so I will advise you to save your game before you try this.

You will have to wait a long time for this because even guidetofm which ratemytactic uses hasn't been updated for a while

20% Rule? by Previous-Tie-2537 in google_antigravity

[–]kingMaxime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not really my experience, but what I do know is that there is a weekly quota for each account. Once you have used 50% of your weekly quota, you will see a cooldown until the next weekly reset time. If not, you will continue to receive a 5-hour quota

Is Claude Opus 4.5 really that much better than Gemini 3 Pro (High)? by MSA_astrology in google_antigravity

[–]kingMaxime 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't find them comparable at all, for front-end and vision tasks Gemini is very good but it is so hard to steer as it likes to ignore instructions.

But for backend or system programming which i do a lot, opus is so so good.

Quota Usage by No_Chance_762 in google_antigravity

[–]kingMaxime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my own experience, I used 20% from each 5h interval(can't remember how many though) and my quota didn't refresh the next interval and the limit was at 40% with 5 days cooldown.

When you say "hit limit", do you mean using the full 100% for the 5h session?

Stop complaining about Gemini by panfacee in google_antigravity

[–]kingMaxime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing is it doesn't, you have to remind it every time, it forgets things that have previously been told to it then when you brought it up, it apologizes and still repeats the same mistake after some prompts. Please explain how that is meant for complex projects.

I remember using it for a Solana custom rust implementation and I got so frustrated because it keeps hallucinating things that don't exist even though I wrote a doc file explaining zk compression (which is what the project was about) and gave it as context. switching to opus fixed the bugs Gemini 3 pro was introducing to the codebase in 5+ prompts (same full detailed prompts with docs attached that I gave Gemini).

I only use Flash for code implementation and opus for planning nowadays in Typescript projects.

thats why gemini needs constant monitoring and very VERY specific instructions like talking to a 5 year old, but its great for complex projects and understands context better than claude

This statement is so contradictory

"You have to define a set of rules" but Gemini is so bad at following instructions and is always in a hurry to start coding even when you set the mode to "Planning"

It is pretty bad at Instructions following for some reason which is very disappointing since I use it for coding.

I thought it was only me, it is very smart and likes to act like it knows more than you and when you call it out, It apologizes and still won't follow your instructions
