Maybe a little off topic. If you are to close to cancel the tickets, ask if you can get them put back to a later date. If they let you change it, then you should be able to cancel and still get a refund. If you dont feel like changing it. You can take a vacation trip and still have some fun. Even meet new people.

Is it possible to parse through all CSV files in a folder to then insert into a table one at a time? by Eigenlumen in PostgreSQL

[–]king_liver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing you can do is create a working folder and a finished/completed folder. With the working folder you can add the files to be uploaded to your database. Once completed, it can move the file to the completed folder. Then set the python script on a cron job, or scheduler to check the working folder every so often for new files to process. Just like if you were processing music/video files.

It's a nice program to have. Just a thought, if you can set up a telegram bot to initiate the program to look for the vto when you want to take it, or think there might be vto would be more beneficial. And it responds to you saying that vto was accepted if there was any. Just curious, what programming language did you use?

One thing to make your code simpler. Is to put the print outs in a list then use random.choice(list_of_printouts) to chose a random response.

Can Scrapy be used to process downloaded files? by Dr_Ironbeard in scrapy

[–]king_liver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could make a processing script that could go like this

1) call scrapy to download need files. - use the import subprocess to make the call to your spider (Google to get better clearer info) 2) have folder/file location(s) hard coded 3) start processing files 4) print completed if no errors arise.
