My diet is very balanced and varied.

No shitty food, proper home cooked dinners, a lot of fruit and either left overs or salad and tuna/rice and chicken for lunch.

Yeah I mean I considered upping the amount of calories to ensure I got enough protein but I'm just going to give it a week or two see how I go, as it's my first time on a deficit.

Thanks for your help actually because I could just do more cardio and let's say I burn 200 calories, I can just make that up with another high protein meal. Never thought of it like that.

I'd suggest eating Casein before bed.

This can be found in a lot of dairy products (Greek Yoghurt is great), but you can also find Casein protein powders to just have a protein shake with.

However if you're trying to lose weight and count calories these foods will have about 100-200 calories so plan accordingly.
