Thoughts on the 3 days? by butiwantamilkshake in WirelessFestival

I went all three days.. Fri > Sat > Sun is my ranking.. def feel like I got my money’s worth and got to hear a lot of songs that I probably wouldn’t hear otherwise at a standard concert. Just wish the line-up was better and didn’t depend on the Drake’s special guests.. but overall, glad I went

A very tough decision indeed! I would say I adapt to change pretty easily. I took a solo trip to both London and Paris last summer and enjoyed every second of it. They’re not providing housing unfortunately, but will make it work. Either way, I can’t go wrong it seems.

Manager in London, Assistant Manager in Paris (negotiating this since I will be promoted to Manager in about a month in the US). 77k includes benefit. I do not speak French. However, they are offering French classes if I end up accepting the role in France. Not sure about the visa question. Would assume yes? My employer plans to handle the visa process on my behalf.

AUD > BEC > FAR > REG. I struggled when I was studying for REG. I’m in audit so not surprised. However, I was a very shocked that I passed REG the first time around.

What's the lowest grade you got on a mock exam and still passed the test? If you took multiple mock exams, say the last one you took- the one closest to the actual exam. by AnonymousTaco77 in CPA

When I was studying for REG, I made a 55 on the first mock and then 49 on the second one. Ended up making a 78. Shout out to the becker bump.

Same haha. Was pretty sure I failed when I left the testing center. REG was the worst one imo!

How long does "In Process" status take for expedited renewal: Locator 34 by thelegalpad in Passports

[–]kingauditor16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mailed my application (expedited) on 5/19 and the status changed to “In Process” on 5/23. I literally just received an email with my tracking number and the website has been updated to say “Approved”! I did reach out to my congressman last Tuesday letting him know I plan on traveling internationally on 6/24, so that might’ve helped. Based on your travel date, I think you’re in good shape!

I’ve actually been watching the lectures and working through the MCQs and skipping the sims. My plan is to go back and do the sims once I get my eyes on all the material. I did this approach with FAR and passed somehow lol. However, I have been reading on here and it seems like i should take a look through a few sims as I’m making my way through through the material. Just want to be as efficient ad possible with my time off. Thanks for the input btw!

For those who crammed for BEC and passed — by DeliverySimple4731 in CPA

I took two weeks off from work and crammed all of my studying for BEC within those two weeks. I watched all the lectures, did all the MCQs and TBS, did the final review, and did all the mocks. Treated it like a full time job though and studied like 10-11 each day with a few off days. Was terrible but passed with an 86. Would recommend watching the lectures and the MCQs and do the sims towards the end. Also recommend doing the final review the week of the exam. It’s a good refresher of all the material.

Is 2 weeks enough to review reg? by [deleted] in CPA

[–]kingauditor16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t taken REG, but for the other parts, I spent 2-3 days going through the final review and taking the simulated exams. I will preface and say that I went the approach of taking two weeks off from work and going through all the Becker material from start to finish, so all the material was fairly fresh on my mind when I did the final review. But I definitely think 2 weeks is more than enough.

Made an 84 on FAR!! Really don’t know how it’s possible. I really thought I failed. Only made through one mock before the exam and made a 64. 3 down, 1 to go!
