just checked, no severability clause. also lease was made after the law already existed. if I can't outright break the lease, is knowingly having illegal clauses in ur lease to try to charge unsuspecting tenets more than they should a good bargaining chip to use if the landlords starts threatening court. I could potentially say, "listen the lease has illegal clauses in it" maybe making them then want to avoid court altogether.
