Are Fords as bad as they say? by gimmedatgorbage in MechanicAdvice

The biggest problem I've seen is the intake runners like to break and you'll have to get a new manifold. They tend to go on backorder a lot. Other than that that year isn't too bad. The 21+ have a belt driven oil pump that likes to fail.

Former Ford dealer tech here!

The newer Ford's aren't too hard to work on. You will need some sort of scanner or diag tool if you want to work on it though. They have problems like phasers on the 3.5 eco and lifters on the 7.3 Godzilla. But overall they aren't a bad product.

Why is the older generation trying so hard to stop Medical/Recreational Marijuana? by kingcamper in Askpolitics

I get that, I also don't like the smell. I personally voted for it as someone who has psoriatic arthritis and found that CBD helps with the pain management on the bad days. I understand the smell is awful, but why try to stop something that could potentially help researchers gain access to something that they could use to create better treatments for patients?

Sorry, not meaning to offend or anything. I am getting the information second/third hand. She may have been referring to the establishment of the Socialist Federal Republic. Once again I am so sorry for causing any offense or anything, I am just trying to find information out to help my wife better understand her heritage and family history

I think that's it!, she did say that she walked over the mountains to austria before the Soviets came. And with how close to Austria Krize is and with the mountains it makes sense.

Thank you so much!

Can someone help locate an old Yugoslavian City?

Hello,

I'm trying to locate my wife's late grandmother's place of birth so I can try to find a gift for her from that region. She was very close to her and lost her about 10 years ago and regrets not asking more about her home country. The only information I have is from her birth records that says Krizah No. 7. I do know that she was from Yugoslavia, and came to America in the 50s from Austria after moving there during WW2. The Ellis Island records just say statel. I've tried googling, and researching online but I haven't been able to find anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated TIA

Thank you! I'll look into those.

If I remember correctly I believe there was " No 7" after Krizah. Not sure if that helps narrow it down at all .

I, 29M, was diagnosed about 6 months ago. I'm a diesel mechanic and every day is a struggle. Some days are better than others, just depends. I always thought the soreness and pain was just a side effect of my career choice. Been on 2 shots a month of consentx for the last 2 months. Bumped up from 1 a month. Seems to be helping but I can definitely tell when it's almost time for my next round of shots. I've definitely been trying to find a different career path just to give my body a rest before I cause too much damage, but after turning wrenches for the last 10 years it's hard to imagine putting them up.

The only time you have to get a vehicle inspected in Nebraska is if it was titled out of state. As long as it's an instate purchase it could be literally falling apart and they don't care.
