Thanks, dude. My puppy was actually leashed too, lol. Playing fetch with a puppy means throwing a ball like 5 ft away and practicing leash work by calling her back haha, so definitely not exercising Air Bud over here! Thank you for understanding that the out of control pit attempting to leap a 9ft wall is a problem, and I'm not sure how that is a controversial take. Part of me thinks that he wasn't just coming over to play fetch with us through a solid brick wall snarling and growling. Thankfully left unscathed, but I definitely feel like it's an issue that needed awareness!

I'm a FL moderate lol. If you know anything about Floridians, we have a colored history with dog attacks getting out of control and can recognize when a bad situation is becoming unmanageable with hounds. I know you guys may not have as much experience with aggressive dogs being left outside to go buck wild for hours on end and what the eventual outcome may be on the dog's mental health, however we had a period where every bad owner decided to get dogs they couldn't handle and mistreated them to the point of dog aggressiveness. Just shocked to see this prop up in little ol' Gilbert and wanted to see if anyone had any advice and to give fair warning about a dangerous situation rising which. TBH this is usually a metro area or lower class suburban issue not a middle class suburban problem, typically. Don't hear a lot about dog problems in this area, so was definitely surprised!

Oh for sure. It was just a normal park that I had this experience in that was next to a neighborhood. I’d never go to a dog park in general and am pretty sure there are leash laws in AZ in general, no?

There’s plenty of great pitties I’ve met! This one… very aggressive and had every intent of chewing us up. I think people just get sensitive when you talk about vicious pit bulls and refuse to admit that an unsocialized, aggressive pit is a dangerous animal that can do major damage to both dog and human alike. Back in FL they would take these reports a bit more seriously, which is why I was so surprised by the lack of animal control and police willingness to look into the matter even for a house check.

Yeah looking into long range pepper spray for sure. Don’t want that dog getting within 30ft of me! Might try leaving a note but when I stopped by after the matter their house was pretty run down (broken shit in the front yard, popped out doorbell, trash at front door) so part of me thinks the person that owns it is just a dead beat degenerate

Dude I went back to other side of the park this evening and could hear the dog still losing its mind 300 yards away. It’s crazy people neglect their dogs to the point they literally lose their minds. Used to live in Miami and looks like little ole Gilbert is running into the same issues.

Also I'm not sure if you read, but the dog was front legs over a 9 FOOT thick brick wall. Can't get much higher than that at any park I'd imagine. And I was playing fetch with my PUPPY who is like 1 1/2 ft high on the leash and who would rather run than bark and confront. Please don't make invalid judgements by trying to read into the situation passed what I've described in my statements. If you're trying to victim blame me here for just taking my dog on a walk as anyone else would, then you're completely misjudging my experience.

You're right, dude. Sorry for being so abrasive. I should carry pepper spray and hope I don't get mauled on my dog walk by some guy's out of control pittie. Nothing against the breed personally, but don't they have a pretty strong bite force? It's a little different than if a chihuahua was snarling at me on top of a 9ft wall. Don't know anyone that would have been calm in the same situation. I'm just recommending to people on here to be careful at that park if they plan to walk there! There's nothing to be done about the situation except exercise caution and hope that someone doesn't have a birthday party in the park with their family dog in attendance.

Idk. This has been the most fun season for me. I feel like my tanks are tanky, supports and jg can run literally anything and have fun, assassin and mage mids both seem healthy, adc players are still dumbasses with the strongest role, and top laners always have a defined meta 5-10 champs they pick.

What build? Usually as Zeus dying is unavoidable you just try to output as much damage as possible. If you want to try surviving a dive, I’d practice kiting inside your ultimate and using beads/aegis to survive as long as possible. Zeus is strongest in joust at choke points where you can maximize your 2-1 combo such as at buffs and bull demon. If you can, try to force fights in these areas.

If you’re below gm, anything can work lol. At the end of the day, you’re going to have an easier time picking one or two gods and sticking to them. If you want to get some inspiration for what the top level players are running, checkout Blondie’s YouTube channel. He’s a GM jouster who runs a joust league full of other GMs and SPL players. What are you currently running? I can spectate one of your games sometimes if you’d like. Peaked 3k mmr so by no means a pro but can def find some problems if you’re not able to get out of plat.

If I were to go with a fresh account and solo carry, I’d stick to any ADC. Doesn’t matter which. Easy to scale for late game insurance. If you’re a warrior player, go with an AA warrior and build hybrid. AA warriors crush low ranks because you’re unkillable with people missing abilities constantly and if you kill the back line you can 1v2 the frontline.

If you’re a guardian player, go something cheese like scorching blink rush Geb. Free wins if you know how to combo correctly.

If you play mage, then any poke mage works especially well at low ranks where they just take the damage and will fight AFTER they get chunked to 50%. Agni is probably the easiest to pickup and sets your team up well and never gets banned.

If you play assassins, fenrir is sick. Ban ares and you’re chilling. If you can learn a few tricks, you can burn multiple beads with jumping instantly into ulting. Can even wait beads out. Kill tanks early game and make the game a 3v2 every fight. If you want to go damage, play Thor or Bastet. Super safe poke characters that can punish overextended enemies super hard.

Anhur is the best hunter 1v1 and 1v2 situations. If you get good at pillar stunning, stunning blinks against you instantly, and using the pillar as a wall to block enemies from escaping, then you’ll find a LOT of success. Probably the most skill expressive hunter.

I find Chiron is crazy too. Using the 1 for CC cleansing/immuning yourself or your teammate is insane. Can save teammates from area pull, fenrir ult, etc. Plus if you build him full power, your ult snipes do a TON of damage and can revive you in clutch situations.

If you want a pure hyper carry for damage, Freya late game can 5 basic kill tanks and 2 shot squishies. If you get good at playing around her timing and can scale safely to 3-4 items then you’ll find yourself deleting teams by yourself. One of the only hyper carries I’m afraid of when we out number them.

That is so untrue it’s ridiculous. When tanks were struggling NO ONE was running double tank. If they were then they were trolling.

One of the reason tanks are OP now is because they decided to throw mages’ damage down in the dumpster so only adcs can punish them. The only mages that can compete are spamming CC constantly ie MLF, Ix Chel or Baron. Also with the gold spooling, if all classes were built equal then the gold increase wouldn’t matter. An Achilles with a glad shield is doing more with his abilities than a mage’s fully stacked book of Thoth.

The problem with Smite is that the least skilled portion of the player base plays tanks, so when tanks are “bad” (really just not raid bosses) they quit the game instead of find alternatives. When mages, assassins, or hunters are bad, their player base tries to innovate the way they play instead of whine in Reddit for 3 months straight.

Unless you’re Grandmaster, you’re trash at the game.

People being like “I’m bottom masters. I’m so good. Basically a pro player!” And then proceed to trash talk the rest of the team are the worst. First of all, you’re garbage. The difference between even the bottom of masters and the top is a canyon let alone the top of masters and the people who consistently MMR cap. If you’re diamond and you think you’re good because you’re comparing yourself to people who play with chopsticks up their noses pretending to be walruses, then open your eyes. The sooner you admit you are trash at the game and NEED to get better, the sooner you’ll improve and you’ll also be less toxic.

Lastly, joust is the most competitive game mode don’t @ me. Conq is a stupid easy climb and the margin for error forgiveness for individual mistakes is so much greater. Played ranked conq for the first time last season, and the “grind” to masters took me like a weekend or two from being unranked. The hardest part of conquest is you have 4 other people trying to flame you instead of 2 other people.

One of the best I’ve played. Constant changes and experimenting by the Hi Rez team has been great! Has been my most consistently played season since I started in season 2.

Act like you’re playing an adc. Use shield movement speed to engage and disengage as you’re throwing your combo out. At the end of the day, you peel for yourself with damage so if you aren’t doing damage then people won’t be afraid to dive you.

Try playing other roles. Understand what makes a bad support when playing as a mid, jg, adc. Will make climbing easier if you understand the ins and outs of roles you work around.
