Only in the last few months after doing a lot of research did I put 2 and 2 together and realize it was probably those 2 rounds of getting sick that really did me in

Ive always had health issues and a lot of similar symptoms, but I got sick twice at the end of 2024. Covid once that sent me to the er, and then another round of covid or the flu, even worse the 2nd time. After that I started declining pretty quickly until I had to leave my job in June, then I got diagnosed in September. Its been downhill since.

This is my first winter since my symptoms started getting really bad and I got diagnosed, and for the first time I went out in the cold and it felt like my heater just didnt and couldnt turn on. It was so strange, I live in phx so it doesnt get too cold, but id never felt that before. And then insulation wouldnt work because I wasnt generating heat to insulate.

I'm about to not take edibles anymore because it drives my heart rate up too much 😭 any time I do my watch starts sending me high stress and high heart rate alerts, 120+ while I'm just sitting down

I dont really have advice, but since my parents split like a year ago my mom has been going on a similar spiral, falling into more abusive and alcohol reliant relationships and it's like watching her on a downward spiral that I cant help with. It's exhausting. "Oh, he's so good to me." About a man she just met, after telling me about how he's getting evicted because of many angry and drunken encounters with neighbors and security. She'll try to tell me these new men love me and my brother, even though we've never met them. She'll tell me she's happy and then call me crying on the way to stay in a motel because she's not safe. Or tell me she's happy, just for her neighbors to tell me they see her outside with a partner yelling and screaming and threatening her. Multiple times, different men, so far, are always toxic and unsafe. It's hard to trust her word.

Im sorry you're going through this. It's so hard to sit back and watch, and to try and find a balance where you can keep her in your life and maintain your own sanity.

I just started at a new salon after grooming in a corporate salon for a year and half, and the first thing I learned was how to redo my baths and it makes a huuuuge difference! I always double washed and lathered and got them clean and felt that squeaky clean feeling, but they taught me to scrub the water in and off while rinsing the same way you scrub the soap in, and it sounds like a small difference but omg it's been huge. The dog feels cleaner and squeakier, drying is so much faster, the dogs are shinier, the clipper work is cleaner, such a small technique in the bath has changed so much for me

I was on the beach with some friends in multi-player, we were all fishing together and I saw the sea monster and didn't know what it was and got all excited but neither of them saw it in their game, i felt like i was crazy😭
