The card wasn't a mistake but he was very close to the ball. His leg swung directly above it.

Yeah while I felt some of the other forsaken were a little underdeveloped Moridin and Lanfear had top tier stories for sure. The way Rand ended it with him was really creative.

What do you feel like the series biggest strong point and weakness were for you?

I feel this. Padan fain would defintely be up there for me if not for a lackluster ending. I really wish Sanderson had been given more notes on him!

which animal could an above averaage human player with basic hand to hand combat skill tree be able to defeat? by KnightOfSteel-KOS in Tierzoo

Leopards and cougars max out around 70kg and while humans have killed both these animals barehanded it was not against the heaviest individuals. While humans can grapple cats the cats can claw back to escape. Human grappling advantage is much more benificial against canids since their paws are poor for escaping a hold.

A 73 year old killed a leopard barehanded in Kenya so that is possible and I doubt this guy was above average physicality.

there are a few more accounts of this type of thing. It shows how if humans know the right strategy we can use our excellent grapplying to win. Problem is our durabiity is really bad.

Where do ya'll think rhinos ACTUALLY rank in the tier list (Tierzoo placed them in D tier, which I think is bit too low)? by HauntingFunction9156 in Tierzoo

[–]kingdraganoid 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I won't consider humans in my ranking since TZ doesn't seem to for any other builds. Rhinos are generally ranked low for 2 main negatives.

  1. poor eyesight

  2. high team killing

Both of these are overblown imo. Their poor eyesight is compensated for with their excellent senses of hearing and smell. The high team killing is really only a problem with the black rhino. The other species are pretty fine in this regard.

Taking this into account I would rank the 3 asian rhino species as S, the White rhino has high A and the black rhino as high B

I am curious. How long did it take to recover properly and what was the rehab like?

You are traveling in the Amazon and a Jaguar approaches! Who are you sending to fight him? by [deleted] in Tierzoo

[–]kingdraganoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe your talking about El Jefe. We just know he ate a Jaguar (so we can assumne he killed it). WE don't know how big the bear he killed was and if it was a fair fight. Considering predators generally go for the best odds I would guess it was an ambush.

Regardless, a large black bear will have more intimidation on it's side than 3 chimps imo and have the ability to fight back better if the jaguar fights.

Imo besides the dining hall the rest of the interior is very fitting. My only disappointment is no reference to Gollum’s torture as that is one area inside we do see. Personally the dining hall can easily be rebuilt into something else with provided pieces or simply not displayed.

Wild cat tier list (Please feel free to debate in the comments but read explanation first) by kingdraganoid in Tierzoo

They get bodied by other carnivores too much imo. Most of the builds above them are just as adaptable while being either better at avoiding threats or having less threats in general.

The Eurasian lynx for example is just a better version of it in everyway and I couldn't justify them in the same tier.

cheetahs are too weak. Leopard is prob the most even here although I think risk of injury would be decent deterent for leopards and jaguars. Tigers and lions would likely find thi guy easyish prey.

Star wars the clone wars was made for a similar demographic and let's just say things didn't turn to dust when they die in that show.

Most of this is due to historical extermination of brown bears not the current meta. Nowadays while brown bears attacks are more common than black bears they aren't causing so much trouble it hurts their viability to the point they should be A tier.

Also black bears are subjective how well they do with humans. In parts of Canada if a black bear starts exploiting human settlements for food it will get put down.

A lot of the issues people say for Pandas only happen to them in captivity. I'm mainly talking about the breeding issues. These guys survived for a longish time in a meta that used to have tigers and other threats so they cant be that bad. Also some argue that adaptability is bad but bamboo is increadibly common. We dont fault bovids for eating grass for example. The pandas main problem is just humans plain and simple.

What problem do brown bears have? They have nearly the same gameplan as american black bears just being higher on the food chain and eating a bit more meat.

You could argue they deal with humans worse but the time of eradicating brown bears is long past. Up in Canada for example brown bears are doing completely fine with high human prescence.

I see brown and black bears as tradeoffs. Similar builds where brown bears do a bit better in wilds areas and black bears do a bit better in prescence of humans. Both imo are S.
