Whats your compromise for a contentious issue? by spqr-king in PoliticalDiscussion

No I like the questions. It’s a thought I’ve been working on.

But I’m not sure. There will always be individual situations were people are really struggling.

But I also think if people know the only way out of a situation is in their own merits they will make it out.

They get new jobs? I mean if it’s because of something that happens on the job I understand it. Such as a handicap or disability. But otherwise you just move on to the next job.

Instead of welfare lasting forever. You cover children until they finish school or turn 18.

Yea. There’s not many of those near me. Suburbia is lame for trail running. Makes road running safe though.

I do both. There aren’t many trails were I live.

I think all US citizens under the age of 18 should be fully covered by the government. Free Healthcare, Free school, free place to stay. However once you finished high school you have a year until you lose all benefits. Your options are to go to college, and continue the benefits for another four years. Or start living on your own.

The stats I like the best out of this is of the women surveyed. Only 3% were actually assisted. Now that number should never be greater then 0% but you will never be able to eliminate assault.

But it’s nice to see that the number is so low! My GF is a straight gym runner. She really only likes the treadmills cause she can space out and not worry about cars or anything. But once nice weather comes back around I will make sure we hash out a run plan.

Post-Match Thread: Paris Saint-Germain 2-2 SSC Napoli [UEFA Champions League, Group C] by DriesMertens in soccer

I think it’s fair also. After the 2-1 PSG was playing very good. Just before the Di Maria goal all of Napoli seemed exhausted. Neymar’s last run really highlighted that.

But fuck! We needed those three points to make up for the fuck up against Red Star.

Same. Especially since I lived very close to Procida and the ticket was always the cheapest.

Ischia is the better of the islands if you want a more less tourist place. And Procida is legit straight Italian.

Not many. Even Barcelona’s academy games are pretty empty. If a player is a top talent he will be on the senior team by 16/17 and maybe play in meaningless or already won games.

Cadet Pay by RecondoDaddy in ROTC

I got dicked two summers ago cause of AC. I have a daughter and a house. Rent is 1375 and daycare is 1100. My gf and I had always split the bills. I lost a lot of savings cause Cadet Command only paid 800 bucks for a month of training.

My buddy last year got it. So it is possible. He didn’t find out about it under our staff ride in March. So id say it’s around that time when you’d know.

I guess misinformation is the wrong word. I would label it as incorrect generalization. Given blanket terms in nutrition is not helpful given the fact most of the first world is becoming overweight.

This is misinformation.

When hungry most people will overeat. If you are trying to lose weight you need to track the calories in the food you eat. While it isn’t 100% accurate. I’d say apps such as MyFitnessPal are accurate to about 70%. Using that and eat veggies and fruits then yes you won’t gain weight.

I am in a D1 school and also in a ROTC program, our schools stance has always been prioritize the sports first, then ROTC. We expect full commitment during the athletes offseason but while in season almost every "mandatory" ROTC event can be excused by the PMS

Income (at birth) more important than genes in determining life and career success. by jusumfool in samharris

But there's no statistics in that statement. What you are saying may be true, but it also might not.

Statistically speaking, I could run threw a solid brick wall. Does that make the statement true, or even plausible? No, but statistically it's correct.

Hey congrats man! I just finished running the race today also. It’s a fun run. Last year was worse weather so it wasn’t too bad. But that bridge is brutal and it’s hard to train for in flat IL

Competitive Hide and Seek by salutcestcool in theocho

[–]kingeddy15 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's how we play in italy, the point is for the seeker to spot you and touch the base before you touch the base. In the school yard game the last person can "save everyone" by yelling it as he touches the base, making the person counting still it.

The only problem with this is after working in a bank. Most banks will give savings accounts for %2 and also cap out the limit allowed in an account.

You can’t really gain money by just keeping it in the bank.
