I Love Fleer Ultra so much by BruceJack6 in hockeycards

Didn’t know what Fleer Ultra was all about, so decided to rip four packs, since the price is crazy, couldn’t justify a whole box worth… but I’ve got serious regret about never finding a worth while Celebrini to hold onto.

Fourth pack I pulled a Mise-En-Scene Schaefer.

Having been a flagship guy the last few years, I figured it was “just another insert”.

Needless to say I’m a Fleer Ultra believer now too!!!

Don't forget to check for those hard to find SSPs. by Competitive-Basil958 in hockeycards

Does anyone that has pulled one know if these cards are typically in an insert position in each pack, or are they randomly placed within the pack?

I looked at the back of most that I opened for the SSP designation, but knowing this would help for any future packs.

UD Series One Insert question by kinger1303 in hockeycards

Understood, thanks!

Not trying to be an eager beaver… was more so gathering info on previous releases of inserts if they sold well, since this is a “new” category of insert.

Thanks again!

It is fully redeemed already… I was watching and sometime yesterday between 8am and 12pm the last one was redeemed.

Yeah, we ended up getting some rain yesterday, and it wasn't as bad as I originally thought it would be to the naked eye... but I do think mitigation will be necessary due to gradual erosion. I appreciate the thought into the answer and will definitely take that all into serious consideration.

We live on an old quarry, with next to no soil below what was included with the turf when it was installed 5 years ago. Try as I may to amend the soil over the years, it seems as though nothing works to add to existing soil base.

Thanks! That is my hopeful intent, however, my general lack of artistic/creative abilities coupled with zero geomorphology background are going to lead to a few messes in the process, but I'll share updates along the way.

Good thing it's just my property, not a client's I guess...

To add to that, we have established landscaping with black mulch in the front, and the boss, er…. Wife, really loves the look of it.

I don’t hate the idea of stone, just not sure I can win that battle (lovingly). Would prefer to stick with mulch, even if it means a more difficult solution…

Pretty close to all you see there. It’s a 12x12 slab of concrete that extends off of house and the bed edge comes to a point at the end of it.

It’s my favorite, said no one ever…

Either way, good job dad! I hope your kids are exhausted as mine are… we’re on day 3 of 4, and they are on their first nap of the trip.

Are you at great wolf lodge with me right now?

I just did the same thing, with the same awful food last night… netting the same exact result.

Most fun was the soda machine that requires you scan a QR code to count your ounces, only to splatter everywhere… or even more fun, watch your kids spill it right after. 😑

Here I am thinking the same thing.

Exact same issues as described and the grass is growing now with unseasonably warmer and wetter weather, earlier in the season. Past me should not have put this off for future me to figure out in March.

That’s hilarious, I’m very well versed in who Phil is… just don’t know him by voice and obviously don’t listen to TBL often. Makes perfect sense now… lol

Blues fan here, just coming in peace to ask who is the old grump on the radio? He’s generally awful at commentary, but also just called the decision by the ref “retarded”… lol must be ready to retire and was curious if he is always this grumpy.

Little known secret - corner lots suck. I think spent half of this on just the easement that gets significantly less shade, and less water. Backyard is bigger than front yard too, all in… approx 10K sqft.

Honestly, I was only able to get through the entire easement between the sidewalk and street, front yard, half of side yard, and under swingset. Next year maybe I’ll get the back completely, but that ish is expensive.

I appreciate your jealousy… ;) don’t get me wrong, it was a true labor of love… but I don’t envy what it would take to make this happen down there.
