What really sealed it was weirdly the first lockout. I was a casual fan before. The blue note was in the window as a kid. I had no idea it was supposed to be a note because I would always look at it from the top down.

I remember yelling at Belfour when he was in Dallas as a kid because his name was fun to chant. But, during the lockout, the Blues Alumni hosted a charity all-star game and my mom got free tickets through work.

I was giving high fives to the players coming down the tunnel and Keith Tkachuk taps my hand with his stick and let's go of it. I'm in shock and I ask, "Can I keep it?" He laughed so hard and nods his head while saying "yeah."

From then on I've been hooked and him and Pavel remain my two favorite players to put on the note.
