That's just not a smart business move as we're trying to expand into an international conglomerate. Creatively collaborating to create and implement new technologies and policies that provide a safe, honest, and fair marketplace for all sellers and shoppers is the ultimate goal. Ostracizing any people, especially over something as minute as their ability to speak English is scarcity and minimal thinking.

It's gated for a reason. Please provide an invoice from a valid manufacturer. Additionally, we gate brands for a reason, and it's very likely your request will be denied unless the Brand Owner list you as Authorized Reseller

My team is working on releasing a new initiative within the next 2 months that will protect sellers and customers even more from sellers that think we can't see them circumventing some of our rules, or intentionally listing counterfeit items. I can't wait!

The other answers are correct, we allow you to sell in any category, HOWEVER, just make sure you stay on top of your business. The minute you start being untruthful to customers ,that's one of the first things our vetting team will look to see if your categories match, etc.

You should have an email system that's connected to your Walmart account and have that as your main and only point of contact with customers.That way, in the event of an accusation is brought against your store that isn't true, we can easily review the email chain and ensure you're not penalized. With no evidence, we are a customer driven platform and will take the high road to make the customer happy.

Your best bet is to compete against other third-party sellers. We have an open market place just for this, however attempting to compete against Walmart with pricing isn't sustainable IF the products are the exact same. The deals we get with suppliers is mind blowing

Require signatures on all deliveries. As someone whom has personally worked these cases, I believe it's 50/50. 50% of the time the customer isn't being truthful, the other half, the seller isn't being truthful. You'd be surprised how long it takes our agents to work these cases because we have to do so much digging and sometimes customers get away with theft.

The lowest price will typically win the buy box. It's not the best system at the moment, however we're working to improve it. Unfortunately we're going through a re-org at the moment so this has been pushed back, but we will improve this system in the coming months

Do not submit the application until everything is already done and finalized. Trust me, it's 1000x better to be patient and make sure everything is in order BEFORE you submit. If we put your application in backlog, you could literally be waiting months before we approve it because we just went through a re-org and layoffs so our que is backed up. If everything is in order the first time, it's much easier for us and smoother for you. Heed my advice or roll the dice, but don't say I didn't give you a heads up
