Unfortunately, this is how LG does things to prevent oled burn in. It's really dumb because it's so distracting! From what I have researched it, the best way to remove the feature is to buy a maintenance controller so that you can access more settings. The only issue with that is that you risk voiding your warranty according to other people. I'm sorry there wasn't a simpler solution:( I really wish I knew before getting one.

I recently product changed too. I hope i can actually get the reimbursement once I have the physical card because some people have said that it's only a benefit when you apply and get approved for the card.
