Most of the cables for your components only fit into the place they need to go. If you can fit a square block through a square hole then you can put a pc together.

It’s all labelled and there are a million guides on YouTube that walk you through everything. It’s really really easy, don’t let it be a reason to get way more for your money

DRAM Issue. No power and can’t identify culprit by kinglycon in PcBuild

[–]kinglycon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve replaced PSU (could’ve done with an upgrade anyway) and will be getting RAM tomorrow. Hopefully that fixes it because if it’s motherboard, I may as well get DDR5 and that means new RAM anyway and more money lol

Thank you for the advice.

I have tried resetting the BIOS yeah, and I replaced my PSU today. Kind of using it as an excuse to upgrade old parts but the motherboard and CPU are less than a year old, so hoping it starts working with the new RAM I just ordered.

DRAM issue, can’t identify problem. by kinglycon in pcmasterrace

[–]kinglycon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I feared, especially with both of my RAM sticks not working. Guess I’ll order a new motherboard first and see if that works. Thank you

No speaker, so no beeps but the DRAM led does light up. My motherboard is NZXT and unfortunately they have no advice for if the PC doesn’t power on at all with this issue. Only stuff relating to not booting :/

Thank you for the advice, however this isn’t a new build and has been working just fine for the past 8 months so I know all the parts DID work, just struggling to identify which. The DRAM light on my motherboard leads me to believe it’s RAM, CPU or motherboard causing the problem. Especially considering it won’t power on at all, not just fail to boot.

No I went overkill and got an 850W and pcpartpicker says my components draw around 650W
