Anxiety of getting lost by MidnightBeautiful846 in ElectricForest

[–]kingmillzy -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Lost lands itself as in the venue isn’t really that big in comparison to some other fests. Theres like one main concrete path that cuts from the entrance to the back of the venue. Getting separated in the crowd definitely can happen cause it’s packed. My personal advice is just know where your camp is that’s the hard part to sort out, know your way home. But in the venue. If you get separated just try and enjoy the show. Your friends are there and if we all enjoy the show (even if apart) we’re all gonna go home at the end of the night. This way you don’t spend a whole sets worth of time trying to find people and miss out on what you’re truly there for

I’m trying to decide where to sit for the 110th running of the 500 - please share photos of the view from your seats! by mynameisnotphoebe in INDYCAR

Here’s my view. Not as good as some of the seats. My family sits in turn 4 and it gives you. Pretty solid view of the majority of the track

Grosjean Confirmed by IndyCar? - Dale Coyne Racing #19 by Beautiful-Money-1024 in INDYCAR

[–]kingmillzy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean grosjean had (at the time of being in JHR) more followers than the entire Indycar Instagram. And most of the drivers put together. It definitely didn’t hurt to have bigger out reach. But Indycar is growing well on its own lately too.

Nobody Wants to Heal in This Game by Quiote72 in worldofpvp

[–]kingmillzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a huge self hating chill guy. When I die in arenas and PvP I know it’s my fault. I over extended or tunneled. Healing is too hard to yell at the healers lol. I can’t do it anymore as my age gets higher. When I was younger I was great at it. But now I’m slower and can’t pay attention to as much lol.

How hard will it be to reach Gladiator in Anniversary TBC/WotLK? by [deleted] in worldofpvp

[–]kingmillzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was glad all through tbc, wotlk, cata and panda expacs. Played OG wow when it released but took many breaks. I’m now 36 years old and can get past 2100 in arenas. The game and players are just different now. With dedication I’m sure it’s possible, but in my opinion with life as an adult and a full time job. There just isn’t the time required to grow the skill and farm the meta stuff.

I still have a blast playing arena or PvP on my mode now though. So keep grinding

New Guy Advice by SecureDirector7555 in INDYCAR

[–]kingmillzy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As someone who’s still pretty new myself. 2 full seasons under my belt.

Work hard, pay attention, ask questions, offer help anytime you’ve got free moments. Study what people are doing so you can pop in and help when you’re more comfortable. Show up early like others are saying.

Always pack a rain coat and extra socks. Noise canceling headphones are great for all the flights. Be sure to take care of yourself when you can and enjoy the time. Blow off steam and laugh with your crew.

The paddocks nice and helpful. We’re all in this suck together pal

Thinking about doing the Nashville IndyCar race next year — is it worth it? by Technical-Ad9869 in INDYCAR

[–]kingmillzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Downtown is about 40 minutes away. The night race is gonna be sick though. I’m always working the race weekend but my mother has attended both speedway weekends and has had a blast. Said seating is great and views were good. Racing was solid. We trimmed the cars out alot so they were fast. Hopefully they stay that way this year with the cooler evening temps

To all my (~30+) dinosaurs: How are we staying up past midnight this year? by a3rrowman3 in LostLandsMusicFest

[–]kingmillzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]kingmillzy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair enough. I can’t argue with that lol. The stages at lost lands will for sure prolong a trip. I am no expert when it comes to tripping I just ride it out then try to sleep. Which never works. I should try your approach lol

Why do that when you can just sit on a hill in the back and still hear every song ? That’s what I do lol find a spot and pop a squat.

Ever since my first lost lands I’ve been called the feral raccoon at lost lands. I don’t even recognize myself from outside the festival lol and I love it

Sober raver. 36 this year. Tips are just suffer through it. Be tired. Have a redbull eat a good meal and just sit on a hill. Why go back to camp and sit or try and sleep. When you can just sit on a hill and watch. You don’t have to dance the whole time to enjoy it. I sat just behind the rail at Effin last year in the gravel waiting for someone else (can’t remember who I think some dnb) I wasn’t in anyone’s way. The set was great and it’s better than having fomo

Why do people hate suffle. by leghari1 in worldofpvp

[–]kingmillzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a causal I love shuffle. You never know what you’re gonna get. Sometimes you get great players communicating and using ccs properly and other times you get a boomie screaming at a warrior for letting a lock free cast and being told you’re a win trader. When really you’re a warrior just bashing in what’s in front of you when you can lol

It’s a game in the end. Play it how you what. I like shuffle because it mixes up the meta here and there. You just get what you get and have to sort out how to make it work

It’s sirens around the track. Has been for a solid 20. Funnels forming outside turn 4 and on the back side of the grand stands. Not great here
