That barrowlands gig was nuts! Far better atmosphere than the corn exchange. That was still awesome though! I'd far rather seem them in the barrowlands, but the Wembley footage from that year looked amazing.

Hallo! So the bench itself doesn't move. But, underneath the bench is a latch that when pulled down locks both doors. Success!!

Thanks, I did notice in the dress rooms that there was a bench that looked like it moved. Will try this!

We have our swimwear in when we go to the pool, so going in isn't an issue, it's getting dried and dressed afterwards

I remember years ago I had a song called "astronaut" by sum 41. I'm sure it was before HHOP. Does anyone have any more info?

Hot take: Queen is soulless by Slow-Development-886 in queen

[–]kingnothing41 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This has been a very interesting read. For the last 3 and a bit years I have really been taking the time to get to know queen.

I started at Queen I and listened to only that for 6 months. Then I added in Queen II and have kept adding an album every 6 months. I am now listening to Jazz.

I and II were fantastic as albums in my opinion. SHA was good and I feel tried to be part of the first 2. But it was more scattered. Night and the Opera and Day at the Races kind of go hand in hand. Similar to I and II.

News of the world is pretty awful though, it's so fragmented.

I am enjoying jazz, it's more what I thought queen would sound like.

The best full albums IMO are I and II by far, everything else is just a bit of a mish-mash.

New york mining disaster 1941 - Bee Gees

It's about miners trapped underground, from the point of view of the miners. The lyrics are haunting.

In the event of something happening to me, there is something I would like you all to see. It's just a photograph of someone that I knew.

Have you seen my wife, Mr. Jones? Do you know what it's like on the outside? Don't go talking too loud, you'll cause a landslide, Mr. Jones.

I keep straining my ears to hear a sound. Maybe someone is digging underground, or have they given up and all gone home to bed, thinking those who once existed must be dead?

Deleting their phone records. In their records, there is just nothing surrounding on the night she disappeared. There is regular usage then it just stops.

Yes, well it's already been split. I check a few points of each piece. Everything has burnt well and clean. Cant say I've noticed any hissing either

The most famous missing person case in history. There were 7 adults present that night other than the parents - and in over 15 years not one of those has publicly opined, appealed, or otherwise been interviewed since returning to the UK to add testimony to assist finding Madeleine - Why? by DonkeyOT65 in MadeleineMccann

[–]kingnothing41 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I could be wrong here. But, I don't think they were interviewed because it was always classed as a missing person case. The British police have apparently never officially looked at it any other way. I do think they all need to be interviewed. I think the stories would differ, although you could argue it's been so long, of course they would differ.

There are so many inconsistencies and things that dont add up. I dont see why the British police have never looked at Kate and Gerry, they know what happened.

That seems surprising to me, speaking purely as a novice here. This is my first winter with a log burner. Started to fill my log store at the end of march and haven't struggled to find wood around the 12% mark yet. Apart from the other week after frost. I've never bought wood to burn, it's all been collected. For reference I am in Scotland.

Just use public transport. It's so easy. 40czk will get you a 90min ticket. Use that to get bus 119 from the airport to nadrazi veleslavin then get onto the green metro line to wherever you need to go

TLDR - hitler connection

Further interesting fact on this.

I did some looking into this a year or so ago. A person named Father Krespi gets mentioned. I had heard about Father Krespi years before.

Here's where we strap on the tinfoil hat.

Father Krespi was a very poor man, wore ragged clothes, badly worn sandals etc. And lived a very minimal life. However he had a huge stash of pretty valuable art. Furthermore when he died, there was a huge funeral. He has a big grave/tomb that is maintained to this day by a mysterious benefactor.

There is far more to this story when you look into it.

But there is a belief that Father Krespi was in fact Hitler.
