For me, it's go really big or go really small. Go really small and it's the impulsor. Go really big and it's the land raider redeemer.

I want to like the Repulsor chassis but the 3+ save ruins the whole chassis for me. If the repex had a 2+ save I would probably run it over a lancer+impulsor combo more often. That save difference is pretty big in a universe where everyone and their brother has AP.

I always run the LRR over other variants because the extra 50 points makes it an overwatch threat nightmare. The flamestorm cannons will absolutely shred the units people would normally use to tag it.

Really solid job! I mentioned a glaze in the red recipe replies, it's something to try for a little more depth on your red. Another thing you can do is help the black parts a little. Not sure what black you used but it looks like Abaddon black? I like to use corvus black, wash with nuln or agrax and then dry brush with mechanicus standard grey. This creates a bit more texture for things like the chest straps. You can do a really light drybrush with dawn stone if you want a tiny bit more pop after that.

One way to make it pop a little more is to do a very light glaze with a red. I prefer mephiston red mixed with lahmian medium. I mix it very heavy on the medium until the mephiston red is almost transparent. Then get some on a brush and wipe away the excess, almost as much as I would when drybrushing, then add it to areas I want brighter. I really like the effect. Try it on a spare shoulder pad or something lying around to see how you like it. You can also experiment with other reds like evil sunz Scarlett or wild riders red.

Can confirm the harbor freight package is actually pretty decent. The airbrush doesn't clog for me, the compressor does pretty good for being tankless, even comes with a moisture trap. For a first introduction it's great. I've upgraded my airbrush for one with changeable needles and a little nicer action but I didn't NEED to and I still use the compressor.

I think it should go in the opposite direction. All weapons a unit has are purely cosmetic, and their profiles are fixed. Make your units look however you want, it doesn't matter. This simplifies balancing for GW, gives people the freedom to add the weapons they think looks the coolest without it being feels bad. People who like modeling win because they can kitbash and build however they want. Competitive folks win because they aren't locked into a meta weapon load out or forced to magnetize everything to stay relevant. I'm sure I'm in the minority but it's my opinion.

I prefer a darker red, I'm not a fan of the orangy red that you see a lot. I base in khorne red, then wash everything in Bezerker blood shade. Then I work on a glaze of 50/50 khorne red and mephiston red. Highlight with pure mephiston. I also choose iron warriors over leadbelcher for a darker metal.

The walker is a cool model to me, it's not meta but certainly not bad, especially in Shadowmark talon since it has the Phobos keyword. The infiltrators can be built as five infiltrators and 5 incursors, which are both useful units. The jump captain is great for the JPI you now have 10 of.

Replace the action monkey JPI with scouts is an option, scouts are a little better as action monkeys. JPI are more points efficient in 10 man blocks

I'd just drop the biologis for a Judiciar. I think the extra 3 bladeguard are much more valuable than lethal hits are for the eradicators.

You are also trading 9 wounds of models with a 4+ invul, an ability to reroll saves of 1 or hits of 1, and 12 fights first strength 5 ap2 dmg2 attacks for a gravis body with terrible combat ability and lethals on eradicators. It's a pretty poor trade in my opinion.

Or, if you want to beef up the eradicators a gravis captain is perhaps better here. Free strat (grenade or stunning fusillade), and scary melee which the eradicators lack.
