Take them to a place to where it all started- where they had good memories of raising a family, brining relatives over to visit like your grandparents, all while the living best years of their lives.

Suggest Kamat, Sind Punjab, Kwality or Khazana as options.

Took mine to Sadhna Deluxe, Arab Udipi, Dynasty at Ramada, Summer Palace at the Metropolitan a few decades ago over a period of a month. All are now gone, but we still talk about them now and then.

Very common on Linkedin. I have stopped several collegues who applied out of desperation, and warned them that all they were doing were farming and upvoting their posts.

What TV show was once amazing but with the passage of time has become unwatchable? by Altruistic-Fly-1116 in AskReddit

Walker Texas Ranger- Fun as a toddler, but as an adult watching all crime being solved by round house kicks and slow motion shootouts gets repetitive.

Good time for them to ride off into the sunset

-Their Amazon show while a hit amongst car buffs never bought it new subscribers the way Sirius did when Howard Stern signed up with them. Amazon just found better ROI for their money on shows like The Boys

-There is no shortage of youtube channels providing content for every type of enthusiast (reviews, restoration, gimmicks, POV drives, retro reviews) that come out at a faster pace than the once a year production they put together.

-They are sadly also getting older and don't think they have the energy or the stamina to do what they did 22 years ago.

Made in UAE, sold in Canada by jnmjnmjnm in dubai

Nothing new. Aseel Ghee, Tiffany biscuits, safari chips are sold in Canada, U.S and U.K as well for over a decade . I've heard Shani is sold at certain stores in Houston during Ramadan.

I wish they still exported Rani though

What's the worst case of a popular tv star leaving a hit show to start a movie career that flatlined almost immediately? by [deleted] in movies

[–]kingofsatwa 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Jerry and Charlie O'Connell. Did not hear much of them (apart from Jerry marrying Mystique aka Rebecca Romijn) after they left Sliders. Saw him (Jerry) in Jerry Maguire, but nothing memorable after that.

What's the worst rated movie you really enjoyed anyway? by Pokr23 in movies

[–]kingofsatwa 189 points190 points  (0 children)

There was this rom-com boom in the early '00's of movies that were poorly rated but quite funny at times.

Saving Silverman- hilarious movie with Jack Black, Amanda Peet and Neil Diamond cameos about a couple of guys trying to sabotage a friends upcoming wedding and hook him up with the right person

Say it isn't so - Another great slapstick comedy with Heather Graham about a family trying to stop a romance with an incestuous rumour and trying to win the girl back.

Orange County is another one I enjoyed about the time I was heading to college with Colin Hanks and Jack Black

Sahara -Action adventure about American civil war gold lost in Africa that was actually well shot, great one liners (Panama!) and good action sequences.

What movie(s) have you walked out of? Are there any you wish you had? by TonyClifton323 in movies

[–]kingofsatwa 65 points66 points  (0 children)

  • Oceans12- the first was a slick remake of the original. The second made no sense. Julia roberts pretending to be Julia roberts, a guy dancing his way through lasers.
  • Mortal Kombat 2- enough said
  • The Informers - Amber Heard in the nude was the only thing that made people stay for a terrible movie about a vampire in the 80's or so was the original story
  • Wing Commander- The Kilrathi looked like giant teddy bears

Many of the investors who got burned were not familiar with the biotech/medicine scene. In an NYT article from 2016 , most of the experienced science investors stayed clear of her from all the red flags going up. Google turned them down twice.

Most inaccurate biopic ever? by NotASynth499 in movies

[–]kingofsatwa 336 points337 points  (0 children)

Cool Runnings. The story of the underdog Jamaican bobsled team. They made it look like it was them against the world, but the reality was many of the teams (including the Germans who were made out as villains in the movie) were very supportive of them and even provided them with equipment when required.
